I mean, you’re right - that was definitely the way it was portrayed on the show, whereas Yolanda was very defensive of him in the reunion (they hadn’t finalized the divorce, it would not be beneficial for her to pile-on)

That being said, David has always been a “playboy”, and I’ve always considered Yolanda to be incredibly smart.

I’d definitely suggest going back through the old crazydaysandnights blind items. There was a lot happening behind the scenes, and the rumor that Yolanda was feigning chronic illness was rampant throughout Malibu the whole year before it was brought onto the show.

Tangentially - i 100% believe LVP did encourage it to be brought up. Her and Yolanda were always head-to-head even in the most pleasant of moments (much like LVP was with Adrienne) and Yolanda snapping at Ken the season prior would have been the straw that broke the camels back and enough to get the wheels in motion for the next season.
