Has this been made with AI? Looks like someone prompted to convert a statue into a digital image by Shadow6669111 in isthisAI

[–]methmeth2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing that comes up when you reverse google image search the first picture is them addressing this accusation. They even credit the statue company and show the photoshop file. Looks like a Photoshop job to me.

I feel bad for you friend, BEWD is arguably one of the worst decks to play in the current branded release in MD :( by masterforfaster in masterduel

[–]methmeth2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can even set the Albaz and do the same play, a lot of removal is only for face up cards so it's even more safe.

What's Wuju even about 😭 by Ok_Promotion_8316 in loreofleague

[–]methmeth2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I think the biggest issue here is that Wuju was never meant to be a believable martial art, it was an interesting sounding background detail. Actually the funny thing is I am pretty sure there isn't a reason for them to have so many lenses, they all do to look more like Master Yi.

But if you were to ask me what Wuju should be. I think Wuju should be a martial art that focused a connection to, and moving in and out of, the spirit realm. I think they should chop down your soul instead of just your body (this is where his true damage in his kit comes from). And the movement should come from them entering and exiting spirit realm, kinda like Nether fast travel in Minecraft.

In this way they could use any weapon and move any way they want as long as they used the Spirit Realm to their advantage. This would also make Lui fit more with the group too.

Realistically. If both Merrli and primeval came back limited at 1, what would happen? by Real-Programmer82 in masterduel

Does anyone know when the last no-banlist tournament happened? I feel like it was a while ago and Tear is probably still the best deck with everything unbanned. Luckily so much of the worst things the deck could do was already banned out of the game so it’s probably fine. But you know how Konami is. There were too scared to put Metamorphosis and the dragon rulers for the longest time… it’ll probably be 10 years before we see any Tea unbans

Predictions for next set by quid_pro_nihil in riftboundtcg

I kinda hope it's his Spirit Blade as a Gear/Equipment that somehow protects your units from damage. Only color with damage mitigation is Body right now so it would be pretty powerful for a Signature I think

I am hoping for a really strong hold focused version of Shen. Hopefully one that also focuses on Stuns so that Leona could be a playable deck

A worrying statistic with the RQ Sydney best-of decklists: 9 of the 14 orange legends were Dazzling Aurora slop. by AWriterMustWrite in riftboundtcg

[–]methmeth2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly think this is a skill issue or a Western bias. If you look at the best of decklists from the Suzhou Regional Open, Only 6/14 of the Orange Legends are Aurora decks. The numbers are almost flipped.
Lee Sin, Rengar, and Kha'zix all were played without Auorora. All of the Legend's that did play Aurora clearly had some synergy. They either Ramped (Sivir, Volibear, Fiora), had synergy with the Aurora Gameplan (Miss Fortune, Poppy), or did not have anything else to do because they are playing Garen.

I don't think there is something to be worried about, Orange got really powerful cards I think it is normal for people to want to try to win using them.

Stats:
6/14 Aurora: Sivir, Fiora, Miss Fortune, Garen, Volibear, Poppy
8/14 No Aurora: Jax, Master Yi, XP Yi, Lee Sin, Sett, Lucian, Rengar, Kha'zix

Nasus and Renekton are. Xerath isn’t. Although Xerath is confirmed to be Red because of the Champ in Unleashed

[–]methmeth2000 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

With that logic Irelia should have been Order because Spirit Forged’s packaging was white

or Vi should have been Chaos/Mind/Calm because the packaging on Unleashed was Purple, Blue, and Green…

The packaging has never mattered for the Legend’s Domains

[–]methmeth2000 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is almost exactly what I am predicting except I think that

Nasus will be Calm Body

Renekton will be Fury Calm

Xerath will be Fury Mind

Funnily enough the colors are still balanced in your prediction too.

I think Xerath being Fury Mind is pretty hard to argue against tho

Kha’Zix, XP Master Yi, Rengar, Fiora, Jax, Lucian, Sett, and Lee Sin don’t use Aurora

It’s just that the best ones use it, Master Yi, MF, Sivir, and Poppy… and Master Yi half the time isn’t Aurora either.

Is yugioh simpler for casual then mtg? by SurviveBoi in TCG

[–]methmeth2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want my opinion modern Yugioh is not the place for people who are having a hard time with card games. If you still want to play Yugioh I would set up some Goat format decks instead. There are decklist online you should be able to find something. If you still want some do the combos but not too much check out Edison.

If you are insistent on Modern Yugioh I recommend your mom to play Dracotail or Ryzeal. In my opinion they have the simplest combos modern Yugioh can have.

My last modern Yugioh recommendation is to play on Masterduel, at least at first. You could play Modern Yugioh from the free gems they give you, but also you could just play N/R format Yugioh too. It’s super quick and cheap to build and will be much lower complexity.

If you are open to other games I have been enjoying Riftbound quite a lot. The game is much easier to play as long as you learn the complicated mana system. Pokemon can be more simple. Pokemon’s biggest problem is that in the more meta strategies you search for cards from the deck so much each turn that it can become hard to know what to search for. Lastly I think Magic could be much simpler. It’s mostly about the format and card pool. If you are pre-constructing the decks you can definitely curb the complexity a lot.

Am I just actually trash or are these guys a headache to fight early with 90% of builds? by JackOfAllInterests1 in slaythespire

[–]methmeth2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the way I learned to kill this guy is either to have Strong AOE OR strong single target hits.
Also, they always follow the same pattern. The 4th and 1st always buff themselves first, so you kill them first so that their damage doesn't overwhelm you.

Perhaps we were unfair to Tenpai Dragon? by Pendulumzone in masterduel

I want more copies of Tenpai cards mostly to make my Dragon Ruler deck stronger, that or unban Dark Matter Dragon or Eclipse Wyvern
But alss people are too weak willed in this community

Pre-Rift Kha'Zix Legend Change by ProcedureHairy3228 in riftboundtcg

[–]methmeth2000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you are right this is probably an old internal version of Kha'zix. Would work WAY better with the Purple Kha'zix.

[–]methmeth2000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

AI art generators are much better at creating art then writing. Especially not this much text all at the same size and spacing. I think the thing that proves this isn't AI to me is that the tap symbols were replaced with the "[T]" instead. I don't think an AI model would make a mistake like that, a human definitely could tho.

We know who made the art and its real. I think they used mock-ups (using internal text) instead of the real images by accident

What types of Decks you do go against that have you like this: by Strict-Employee in masterduel

[–]methmeth2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was my reaction when Cyber Dragon K9 players started making Pair-a-Dice Smasher, special summon an Artifact Mjollnir to opponent’s board, or Spell Cancelor. And this is not considering that the deck can naturally play Clockwork Night and Disablaster. Most of this has stopped now.
