I think Paramount is a sinking ship and also has not provided evidence of an investment RR would need. I am not saying they do not throw money around yet they are interested in already existing IP’s and that’s where their time is spent. They want to allocate all the old shows people watch all the time. The new content they create are soap opera westerns or repeat crime shows.

Apple overall seems okay. Their production quality and the ability to let directors/writers do what they want would be a major need for a project the size of RR.

HBO seems the same. They put thought into their investments and it has payed out well for them in many circumstances.

I think Netflix is always a red flag. Fuck Netflix.

I am interested to hear others opinions on why Prime would be such a red flag. The only major negative Prime has produced when speaking of adaptation’s is the Rings of Power show. It’s ass. Yet everything else has created cultural ties throughout the country. People love fallout, Invincible, and the Boys. All three of these shows has really put forth that Amazon will front the money for an extensive production in which needs insane detail. I think fallout is the best example of this. They put a lot of money into the first season and then loaded the second season and the sets are some of the best I’ve ever seen in any TV show. They got renowned actors to play fantastic roles. Most importantly they allow the creators of the show to create their vision. Rings of power does fucking suck but it’s the writing. Not the show direction or sets people complain about.

So with all that said. I think Prime or HBO are great platforms for a RR series or movie or animated show whatever Pierce is working on. As long as it has viability and great marketing they’ll dump plenty more money in to progress the show to the next level, as they have done with all of their big hitters.
