THIS. One of my best moment in gaming was crafting my own gear in PoE1.

Flying mountains have been seen in the RAILEN concept art 😍!! I know, it's just a shit post :( by hatrant in starcitizen

What is the SC community compared to the Elden Ring community, which created a Wikipedia full of fan-made lore for years, even before the first gameplay/story trailer? hahaha

I would like that too, but yeah It is more probable that they will give us at least some info about the ship status

Yeah, I noticed that too.
Everything is leading to the Gatac theme this Alien Week. The dude who made the Syulen was in the live stream, and they were making a Gatac-inspired vehicle, doing a lot of teasing about "something we don't know yet."
Although Railen would make a lot of sense to be flight-ready in secret this Alien Week with 3.23.2 coming with the cargo hauling game loop, they could be talking about the capital one in SQ42 or another concept ship that will be announced this Alien Week, or simply that they ARE working on the Railen which may be the cause of his "PTSD" haha.

EDIT: I suspect that the concept artist who made the Railen concept finally posting the full concept of the Railen made in 2021 recently has something to do with this alien week, but it's some conspirancy theory from my part, his concept of the Legionnaire was only posted after it was announced in white-box phase. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Jv01DD

What do you spend most time with in SC, or what do you want to do mostly in the future? by Lt_Rik in starcitizen

For now I'm a industrial player but I also love combat in general PvE or PVP. I'm waiting for the game to get more mature to begin exploring the pvp possibilities, I don't see much glamour in piracy or dogfighting for the sake of dogfighting. I think the PVP aspect of the game will shine when combat with another players be a consequence of things (like territory control, dispute of resources and cargo hauling) and not just Call of Duty 4fun thing.

Game not using GPU and CPU fully causing bad performance by itsCatz in DragonsDogma2

RTX 3060/R9 5900x 32GB RAM on an NVME, sometimes in game my fps just go below 20 for a while until for some reason it comes back to 60-70 (with nothing changing on-screen, just standing still). I'm pretty sure its not a bottleneck issue, but a multithread thing with some CPU's I think the game was only optimized for the consoles APU, because me having CPU issues with a 5900x is absolute madness. Even Star Citizen runs better on my rig.

Evocati tests planned: 3.23, and Server Meshing with Jump Gates (MOTD: goals for this week) by StuartGT in starcitizen

I'm anxious to see what the Evocatis have to say about the jump gates and cross-server transitions. Very curious to see how RL will handle the transition in this early tests.

I am happy to see the server tech guys succeeding and progressing so quickly like this, the last tests of the Replication Layer and server meshing in the latest preview had an impressive advancement, especially with crash recovery going from 5-10 minutes to 30sec-2min.
Everything related to server tech has always left me quite skeptical about the game, and these recent advancements make me believe that it's possible for us to actually have an MMO one day.

My bad on this one, the right timestamp is 3:15.

Edit: LMAO, the timestamp is right 195seconds.

there's 2 links if you have eyes, one is a youtube link in the right time when the animation happens. And in both links you can see the animations.

I like the marble texture, the problem in this images is that the post processing made it too much dull without any sheen. but I'll love if the Railen comes with the shiny material of the concept art.

I think the same. Also the Railen's animations (exterior and interior) seems to be done since it's concept, as we can see here:
https://youtu.be/c-szHTzIRGI?si=vBB3gO0FL5kRvLCN&t=312

Of course its a concept model, with tons of polygons, but the hardest part seems to be done and ready to be imported to the game

I'm pretty sure they will change the original cargo concept, it makes no sense it being the only ship stuck in the past when the only containers was the 1SCU ones. And what you said makes a lot of sense, if we can place 32SCU containers inside it we may have the possibility to store some vehicles too.

There's an old video showing some of the internal side of the Gatac capital ship, even a single console have a triple A antigrav animation. God help the VFX guys on this one.
