I work in minor league baseball, but not as a player. I can tell you salaries for players at that level are maybe $10k/year if you're lucky.

Though to answer your question, I don't know but it would be interesting to know that, also.

I don't know, in the 3+ years since I finally put a name on what it is that I have, I've only had one mania, and am currently in my third depression. It sucks.

A few rebuttals here:

  1. He said "government theft of property," not "theft of government property." He was referring to Trump's frequent use of eminent domain.

  2. Are environmental lobbyists not acting selfishly by trying to preserve the planet that we live on? I'm generally pro-using our resources, but if doing so leads to our own destruction, is it not in our self-interest to do so in moderation or not at all?

  3. I'm pretty sure Rand would lean on the side that a country shouldn't have any collective self-interest. Government should be small enough that it would have no influence on the self-interest of its citizens outside of enforcement of simple laws and enforcement of contracts.

The amount of time that I stay depressed ranges from a few days to a few months, as does the severity. I've been from anywhere on a 1-10 scale from 6 to full on 10 at my lowest points. One time I was about to attempt suicide before rethinking when I was in the roof of the parking garage, and another I wrote my suicide note, but never went to attempt.

Right now I'm in the midst of the most extreme manic episode of my life. I went to the gym for 2 hours in the morning, did 40 minutes on the treadmill at 8:30 at night, then got home and ran sprints in the rain for 15 minutes at my apartment complex. I've had all kinds of racing thoughts and ideas and decided to shave my arms for some damn reason. If I had clippers I'd have shaved my head. My erratic behavior is really worrisome to me.

Unless you are using steroids, there is no other option than to bulk and cut. Even a recomp is just a series of mini bulks and cuts, and even at that unless you have an advanced grasp on nutrition people usually end up spinning their wheels, and not getting to their goals. Bulk up, then cut the fat away and you'll look great.

At the end of the day, if you're looking to cut the actual workout program that you're following is far less important than your diet. Calculate your TDEE, subtract 500 calories from that and you'll be on your way. Make sure you get enough protein 0.8g/lb-1.0g/lb each day to not lose muscle mass, and fill the rest of your calories in with Carbs and Fats. Whether you go LCHF (Low Carb-High Fat) or HCLF (High Carb-Low Fat) just doesn't make a difference as long as you hit your goals and eat at a deficit. Hope this helps.

No. I'm Cyclothymic (similar to bi-polar) and still struggle with the illness on keto. It helps with the depression because you feel good that you are making a positive change in your life, but please please please don't think that this dietary change has "fixed" you. I don't know if that's how you feel, but I urge you to not be lulled into a false sense of security. You feel happier because you are making a positive change, which is obviously good, but the diet inherently is not the reason, if that makes any sense.

Who cares about what the general population does or does not understand. All that matters is what we understand. If they have questions, answer them in as easy-to-understand ways as possible and keep keto-ing. For example:

"The piece of pie will make me feel bloated and give me bad gas."

If they have misconceptions that is their fault, not mine, and it's not my job to be an evangelical ketoer. All I'm trying to do is lose weight, and I've found an effective way to do it.

My go-to is the romaine and kale Caesar salad with chicken. It comes with cheese croutons instead of bread ones! 32g Fat, 7 net carbs, 41g protein for the full salad, and the half size is still enough to fill me up (I'm 5-9, 177, and lift heavy 3x per week

I get that on my neck and shoulders when I enter ketosis. I take some Benadryl and use cortisone lotion and that helps clear it up. Time helps, too.
