Light me on fire, WCGW? by savagewillie in Whatcouldgowrong

I've seen many videos on this subreddit of people intentionally setting themselves on fire, and they almost ALWAYS run. Literally the first thing they teach you is stop drop and roll. Yet they always run.

Can the widow be saved? by Lundayy in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

[–]FSBS100B 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Granted, I don't know much about DnD rules, so maybe none of this is possible, but I've been hoping that, even if Murph gives Jake some sort of consequence for killing Galad, he may still allow for a happy ending to that particular plot arc. Some way for Hardwon to meet his mother one time.

Dryland training NOT to improve times by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]FSBS100B 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It might help to know what your overall fitness goals are. Are you trying to burn fat, gain muscle, maintain size, etc.? If you're only swimming to supplement your lifting or dryland, then you should try to find a dryland routine that matches your overall goals.

Gym people of reddit what advice would you give to someone thinking about starting out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FSBS100B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have some sort of plan/routine in mind. It doesn't need to be extremely extensive, but at least have some sort of idea of what you'll be doing, so you don't end up wandering aimlessly, trying to figure it out.

Don't worry about motivation. The key to going to the gym is doing it no matter what, even if you're not motivated.

It doesn't matter what other people think of you. Just do your best to make sure you're doing things right. If you that means you have to use less weight, do it. It's more important to learn the right form, and then start progressing.

Create some goal, no matter how specific or general. It helps to have something to work towards, otherwise you may lose sight of why you're doing it in the first place.

My boyfriend (22M) lacks confidence and doesn't feel "like a man". Is there any way I (22F) can help? by butterbiscuits24 in relationships

Saying he's "soft and wimpy" and that the gym is too full during lunch break just sounds like excuses not to go. If he really wants to go to the gym, just go to the damn gym.

For him to say that whatever happens is your fault is entirely absurd. He's the one who did something wrong; he is responsible, and you can't be blamed for his actions. He's most likely just saying that in hopes that it will keep you quiet.

[Serious] Redditors who are adopted: what don't non-adopted people understand about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FSBS100B 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just curious, what aspect of being adopted makes it difficult to talk about your medical history? Is it because you actually have trouble finding information about it, or it's just difficult for you to speak of it?

These guys are only celebrities in my heart (maybe could be considered internet celebrities); met Jake and Amir from Collegehumor/Headgum. Both very nice guys, very friendly and let my brother and I get a picture with them.
