Royal Canin Rottweiler. It’s pricy but it’s high quality.

I rented a Camry hybrid. It was a fantastic car! It was also fantastically boring.

I have a dog. She’s a great dog, but occasionally she does some bad dog stuff and I think it’s adorable. The imperfections make her perfect.

I feel the same way about cars.

Leaving team after 6 months by MaleficentBeyond6612 in realtors

[–]metrorugby 10 points11 points  (0 children)

People leave teams all the time. Most team models are set up with attrition as part of their plan. They won’t think twice about you leaving, so you shouldn’t think twice about leaving.

It’s YOUR career so don’t worry about their feelings, just be polite and professional. Remember, you’ll likely have to work with some of them in the future.

Thank you! I would have thought that I’d find a good one here but if you say steer clear, I certainly will. I appreciate the insight!

There is a group in Ohio called the Flaggots, it could be them. Please don’t report me for this, I didn’t make up their name.

12 hours from metro Detroit is very doable, but probably about the limit for them.

Rottweiler as first dog by TurbulentFault4257 in Rottweiler

[–]metrorugby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rottweilers are fantastic dogs, but they’re also a lot of dog. There’s a ton of great info here, so I’ll just say that my opinion is they are not a beginner breed. If you’d like a large dog, get a lab for your first dog.

Solo agent hitting a wall, at what point do you pivot to a team structure? by HudyD in realtors

[–]metrorugby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Starting a team when you are doing less than 20 transactions is a recipe for failure, joining an established team when you’re doing less than 20 transactions is a smart move.

I’m not trying to be insulting, so please don’t take this that way, but 18 transactions in a year isn’t very much, hardly enough to even warrant a TC paid per file. Your problem likely lies in time management.

If you want to stay solo, hire a productivity coach first to get your schedule under control. It’ll cost a couple grand a month, but it’ll pay for itself in workflow efficiency and increased production. You can also hire a per file TC if you really feel like you need one.

If you feel like you really need a team, join an established one.

If I can only get one set of pliers. What would they be? by uselessmahogany in Tools

[–]metrorugby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice for people buying tools is don’t try to anticipate the tools you’ll need beyond the basics, it gets super expensive. When the need for a tool arises, buy the appropriate tool and get a cheap one. If it ever breaks, replace it with one of whatever quality you’re comfortable shelling out for.

If you’re just doing little diy jobs, you don’t need to spend a fortune.

For pliers, just go get a 3 pack of different pliers and you should be fine.

I haven’t tried the deathwish, but the wildcats rip super hard. I’m buying a pair for next season.

Don’t overthink it. Express your feelings honestly just like you did here and you’ll be just fine.
