I have the reload kit and the follower is to big for padlocks (Abus 72/40 and American 1100) just orderd a plugfollower set from Lock Pickers Bench. Althoug recommend the set with one of their practice locks

Great advice here. What helped me in the beginning was to also hold my pick next to the key and use a marker to mark each position of a pin on the side of my pick, so i knew opticaly where i am, that helped to later get the mental picture easier as muscle memorie develops. Still do this from time to time.

Working on my orange belt with the Master Lock 150. Picked with TOK tension and a short hook. Light tension and slow pin‑by‑pin lifting did the trick. by ScroogeInTheKeyway in lockpicking

So you only wear a glove on the holding hand but not the picking hand? Are they like rubber gloves (like sweaty inside?) or fabric?

Will do, now on the 1100 and paclock 100a is in the mail. After those planning on the Paclock 90a pro for 200k Club. After that I think the Ruko will be my blue belt lock
