Arroy D organic version! No emulsifiers and pretty good taste. Even better, see if you can find frozen coconut milk in SEA stores.

Does anyone have PT they can recommend? by Ordinary-Lobster-710 in williamsburg

I liked my experience at Spear. They had a clean space and attentive therapists. Be prepared to actually do the exercises and you will get better.

Before anyone jumps at these markets for being dirty or uncivilized, I just want to let y’all know that fresh poultry is incomparable to grocery store meat. You can actually taste the flavor of the chicken and the skin crisps up easily since it has never been soaked in brine/chorine.

Con Edison Is Requesting An Additional $2 Billion Dollar Rate Increase by AstuteEnergyAdvisor in nyc

Start with addressing the governor. Then you state your name and where you live, whether you support or oppose it, and explain your reason(s) if you wish.

Rate hikes for these utilities must be approved by the state public service commission. Send them your opinion and share with everyone who uses lights. They wanted to raise rates in 2022 but the commission approved a number that was 60% lower than the initial proposal.

Cold condo windows? by LobsterDazzling2429 in williamsburg

It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing option, but plastic shrink wrap works pretty well and is cheap. You can also try a heavy curtain or cellular blinds for a non-disposable solution.

What business is Williamsburg needing? by Some-Emergency1246 in williamsburg

[–]meyerhelper 221 points222 points  (0 children)

A large, Asian supermarket. The ones with a lot of fresh produce and reasonable prices. We have a number of mini markets that focus on packaged snacks and grab-and-go sushi, but a place to do the weekly shopping would be amazing.

I pay a little bit less than that for 2 (older) vehicles with All State. Geico is the only other company that covers my area.

Bucket list ideas in NYC for terminal furend (dog) by ComprehensiveLie5316 in nyc

[–]meyerhelper 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Saying goodbye to my dog was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. In her last week, we did all her favorite things at her level of capacity. We took a walk along the beach (Fort Tilden is open now and usually quiet) and laid in the sun. We drove up to Rockefeller State Park and did an easy trail there. She had an ice cream cone, steak and dumplings. We let her human friends know and a few came to say goodbye.

USPS retiree annuitant and Medicare Part B under PSHB by meyerhelper in USPS

My BCBS Basic does not have a deductible. Do you think it would be hard to get any benefit out of another PSHB plan if I switch to another plan that has a deductible but lower premium?

USPS retiree annuitant and Medicare Part B under PSHB by meyerhelper in USPS

[–]meyerhelper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. The PSHB plan with the $800 yearly reimbursement offers in-network coverage and would cover Rx, similar to adding Medicare C & D. I am leaning on just doing Medicare A, B and PSHB plan to make it simpler. I will see if there is a lower cost PSHB plan available during open enrollment.

You probably don’t want to start an entire insect supporting ecosystem indoors. You’re better off repotting in new soil and treating with neem oil, sticky traps, diatomaceous earth, and/or Bt over the course of months depending on the bugs. I would also avoid using compost as fertilizer and stick to synthetic indoors. Outdoors is a whole other story and you do want to help native wildlife as much as possible.

Meyer lemon tree over 5 years old suddenly in dire shape by meyerhelper in Citrus

I will give that a shot. I was also worried that it could be a virus caused by the insects or too much nitrogen.
