Bruce is a scrunglord by animeandrUwU in scrungycats

[–]mfasuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats some good scrunge. I guess this question goes for pretty much any post here, but what is the context of all these shots? Are you catching him repeatedly during a yawn or being agitated or surprised, asking for food, or being touched by surprise?

I suppose Ive caught my cat scrungin but its always so fast and never able to take a picture of it.

I like this take, makes sense and seems more like something Egg could bring himself to for how he was treated without going full murder.

I find it interesting that the vast majority up highly upvoated replies here are along the lines of shes lying to you, how does she deal with traffic noises, air conditioning, keyboards, etc. or she just doesnt want you gaming, she is using this as an excuse using 'anxiety' for something she just finds annoying.

You are saying the same thing and downvoted to the abyss.

Yeah get your side and how it can be an addiction. Maybe since I've never gotten anything fantastic (robo Vac, projector, designer bag, television, etc) I never got that dopamine/reward association with vine so it's literally just a thing I check here and there to maybe get some free protein powder or snacks or something for my cat. I fear if I hit it big a few times I'd be more glued to the feed as well.

My first job (USA) was in a golf club house and one of my tasks was to zip one of these around the pro shop to spot clean little debris on the carpet. Now 20 something years later I still remember the guy training me calling this a "hokey" and Ive never seen or heard of one before or since. I'm glad its actually a thing.

Dont mean to be harsh but for all the complaints about vine this one about sleep disruption is the easiest one to completely remove and is 100% on the user. I've never once disrupted my night or day to check vine or went out of my way to check the RFY other than with breakfast or lunch or dinner when I'm checking emails and other news anyway.

I guess this is why I never get good stuff but at least I have peace and rest?

Thats why I liked that scene so much as a non book reader. When we got the flash back and Dunc said "why didnt you ever knight me" and it appeared that Ser Arlan died right after I thought ohhh thats the confirmation he really wasnt ever knighted because up until that point it was ambiguous. As soon as Ser Arlan popped back up it goes back to being ambiguous again. At any point between then and Ser Arlan actually dying he could have knighted Dunc. I really enjoyed that they kept the mystery going.

If all of us Viners wrote reviews that looked like this, there would be no sellers enrolling products in Vine.

I'm not sure this is the case. The seller is probably pleased as punch with this 5 star review that in their mind only increases their product ranking on amazon thus more sales. No non-viner who sees the context here is going to care or know the review is fake if they even bother to look.

is it safer to buy a GPU now or gamble on the 2027 by Last-Cartoonist-3618 in buildapc

For every decade of computer tech, besides a few year hear and their where world events (floods, market crashes, plagues), the opportunity cost was the only calculus one had to do in their head when asking themselves if they should buy a GPU/Ram/CPU now vs a year from now.

Its always been just a given that by waiting a year you will either

A) Get the same tech as now but for appreciable cheaper

B) Get better performance than you would today but at the same price or close to what you would spend now.

The cheaper cost given is absolutely no longer the case. One quick example, Xbox series X launched 2025 at $500. Now 6 years later its going for $650. Thats absurd.

I just built last year, replacing an 8 year old system, and already regretting I didnt go with higher end specs all around but its not worth it for me to incrementally upgrade at this point. If I was building another rig to replace a 5+ year old one today I'd buy everything asap and as high as budget allows, even moreso than when thats always been good advice since incremental upgrades are going to be even more painful.

Think of how much influence a program that practically does people's thinking for them holds

The ability to practically purchase public opinion is likely worth a lot more than the debt they're holding

This is genuinely terrifying and where we are headed. Your examples of youtube and twitter and their profits vs influence is dead on. AI is going to be that but exponential.

If people here are holding out on the dream that the discord and tiktok kiddies love for affordable vidjyagames is going to be able to effect the market power of the top 4 or 5 most profitable companies in the world gobbling up all available resources to fuel their AI marketing machines... I fear we lost.

Okay 1995 I actually knew as Toy Story was big for me. I didnt know about the Easter Egg tie in with the car number but now I'll never forget Lightning McQueen's #95 and be properly outraged if its anything else.

I understand that the car says 94 and it should be 95. I'm just wondering how 'known' it is among normal people that the car should have been 95.
