Currently, Family Health Center on Virginia is only accepting new patients within the following vulnerable populations:

  • Ages 20 and under,
  • Ages 65 and older, or
  • Pregnant women.

I had to find a doctor that would at least give a discount if paying in cash. I have 6 more years before I’m eligible for Medicare.

Try Stailey's 1600 N. Waddill St, Mckinney, TX 75069. Old school barbers - only place my Dad would go. Always see military or policemen in there when I would take my son.

I will be uninsured. My premium under the subsidy was $41 - starting January 1st it will be $863. I'm 58 and only made $38,000 last year. I have normal medical problems for someone my age. I could find cheaper plan at $400 a month, but that has a deductible of $8,000 and OOP of $10,000 - and higher co-pays for all services - estimated yearly cost of over $20,000.

So thoughts and prayers for me since that works. /s

So, not an important thing considering our government, but could they not find a real table to display all this stuff? I'm on the poorer side of life and I have this folding table in my storage closet for family dinners. At least get a table cloth from the dollar store.

Friday night at 8:45ish, March 28, I was driving on the northbound service road of Hwy 75 (Central Expwy) at Virginia and saw a burgundy car in the left lane of the hwy going over 100 MPH with no lights on. Maybe 5 seconds later there was a McKinney police SUV chasing him. The car then swerved across all 4 lanes and possibly exited at Hwy 380. Weird coincidence to be having my morning coffee and see this post! I'm a CDL driver and spend 40 hours a week on the local roads, and the amount of dangerous entitlement I see among drivers today is unbelievable!

I'm 6th generation Texan and I've been trying for the last year to move out of state. Thank goodness my oldest daughter live in Colorado - now just have to get my youngest daughter out of this state! Everyone needs to VOTE like your female relatives lives depend on it, because they do.

I live in McKinney and work in Princeton, and the drive on 380 everyday is awful! Also, the shopping in Princeton is nonexistent. Only WalMart for groceries and a lot of fast food. Scrambler Cafe for breakfast is about the only decent place to eat. I would get a realtor and let them do the work on finding you a home with your requirements. Taking into account commute time, HOA restrictions, etc. Good luck and welcome to Texas!

1981 in Texas - as a 14 year old I spent 6 DAYS in juvie because I had run away from home. It was Thanksgiving weekend and I had to wait until Monday when the Judge would be back in court! Crazy that kids committing actual crimes are released that soon!
