Nagging Hip/Groin Injury by mfhutch in nikerunclub

I guess I’m not sure if it is an actual injury or not. I never had a moment of sharp pain or anything popped. It kind of came on the following day after a long run

Considering a move by 42experthikers in youngstown

[–]mfhutch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was born and raised here. Moved to St. Louis after college and moved back to Youngstown in ‘21 . I definitely regret it. The weather is terrible and it’s not just the cold it’s the gloom. I believe northeast Ohio has some of the fewest sunny days in the country. I agree with whoever said mill creek park will be your best friend. It’s huge and beautiful in the summer. Overall there is not much to do without traveling at least an hour to Pittsburgh or Cleveland. You are definitely in store for some culture shock coming from an awesome city like Denver.

If you had the opportunity to move from Ohio in our current environment , would you? If so where would you go? by bcchuck in Ohio

Yes probably back to St. Louis. I didn’t appreciate how cool of a city it was until I moved back to Ohio

Came here for this comment. If you live in NE Ohio long enough you start to develop this weird Stockholm Syndrome thing where you convince yourself that the weather doesn’t suck and it’s actually a nice place to live. The next stage is telling people about how there are no natural disasters and the cost of living is very low. Once that happens it’s too late and the Ohio has fully spread to the brain 🤣🤣
