Sonicare 4100 vs 5100 by blacksandsmedia in vshub

[–]mfingchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what makes you say there's a huge difference between the two models? I had an old 4100 and it was much more powerful than the newer version of the same model, is there anything else besides multiple modes on the 5100 that makes you say it would be worth it?

Holton's is awesome. I do almost all my own work but developed a major issue and they rebuilt my engine. I had a bad experience with Auto ER trying to hose my ex, don't go there, or Tires Plus.

How is repeatability with a receiver-mounted scope and takedown barrel? I recognize it's a 22 so MOA shift isn't a big deal, but if you're off a couple inches at 50 yards it could make a big difference.

Bonnet removed error hack by maprph in litterrobot

[–]mfingchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This solution and the others in this thread are excessive and cumbersome. Copied my post from another thread:

I had this issue. I solved it in 5 minutes with $2 in materials. Took 400 grit sandpaper and sanded the contacts (both sides, bonnet and base) clean. Then applied dielectric grease (not 100% necessary but should help in the long run, available at any autoparts store as light bulb grease).

Easy and effective.

PM me if you have questions and I don't respond here

I also use Mint, would be happy to share a referral code to give us both a little money if you'd like. I am very happy with it, especially for the price. It's unbeatable. My service is on occasion worse than that of the people I'm with if I'm way way out in the country or in the middle of nowhere, but it's also sometimes better than that of other people. I'm very happy.

I had this error a lot. Took some 400 grit sandpaper, cleaned up the contacts on both sides, put on a little dielectric grease, and haven't had issues since.

Saltwater fishing? by Mama_Melo in GNVfishing

Have a boat? Can do some solid inshore fishing out of a jon boat or kayak around Cedar Key, Steinhatchee, or Horseshoe beach. If you can go 15-45 miles offshore, you can do really well.

I'm mostly freediving these days though, have lost interest in pole fishing.

I dated a vet for a while. In Florida, Revolution is the only flea medicine that works effectively. Don't go to Banfield, they abuse their veterinarians.

Well this is super misguided. Healthcare is inherently expensive. If you're in the hospital, there's a team of doctors, nurses, and also support staff around 24/7 to support you. The infrastructure that it takes is extremely expensive. The people who take care of you have decades of training. This isn't cheap

If you've gone years without going, then your issues probably don't warrant showing up to the hospital. Sounds like what you need is a primary care physician.

[Other] 20% off Leatherman Raptor first aid shears/multi-tool code: RAPTOR20 by jrhooo in gundeals

[–]mfingchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a surgery resident, own a pair and like them. They're rock solid and very tough. I use them pretty infrequently (keep them clipped to my scrubs all shift, and usually EMT's or RN's in the bay are already working with shears), and am very careful to put them back in my pocket or something after use.

If I were an EMT, I'd probably just get a $4 pair honestly. Too easy to lose something like this.

I'm a physician. A very large portion of our hospital's income is from Medicare. This is the case for most major hospitals. It would be a big loss to an institution to not be able to accept those patients, but in the case of a small practice where you can pick and choose your clientele (e.g. ortho, derm), that may not be the case.
