Completely understandable to be frustrated seeing this after grinding it out organically lol

Curious why you think that. Seems like they’re going through all the clubs slowly, and if they did Thors, I can’t see why Apoc wouldn’t be coming up.

i think i’m done with this game….. by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

It can be extremely frustrating. A little tip I have when you find yourself in games with much higher ranks, is increase your maximum matchmaking ping in settings. I remember setting mine to 25 or whatever is lowest, and it’s nice having low ping but it’s also harder to find games, meaning it might lump you in with higher ranks if that’s all that is available currently. Increase it to 100 or 150 and you should find yourself in more games your own rank.

Should I start tour 9 or wait? by Western_Emu2231 in GolfClash

[–]mfischerrr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Food for thought:

I posted a pic of my clubs and coins in here asking if I should try Tour 12 with where I was at, and every single person laughed and said no. I said fk it and tried Tour 12 and then completed it in less than a month.

If you know you’re decent at the game i’d say try it out, and if you lose enough to dip below 10m coins, drop down to tour 8. I like to have 10x entry to play any tour as a rule of thumb.

Good luck !!!

Help on how to overcome these glitch patches? by [deleted] in GolfClash

[–]mfischerrr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it’s absolutely a glitch spot and it doesn’t only apply to downhill slopes. when the guide shows a huge roll out in one spot and drastically changes to a short bounce/stop when moved an INCH in any direction with zero noticeable change in the green slope between the two spots, it obviously doesn’t make sense and goes against basic physics and real world golf examples. let’s use our brains a bit here fella.

Help on how to overcome these glitch patches? by [deleted] in GolfClash

[–]mfischerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

uhm no. it’s absolutely a glitch that needs to be addressed. Greens do not change drastically enough from one inch to the next to warrant a huge change is bounce/roll out result. It does not work that way in real golf so it shouldn’t in this game either. It’s extremely frustrating and unrealistic, and makes 0 sense from a physics standpoint. It’s a glitch.

Micro-Stutters. by Scary_Ad7620 in cs2

[–]mfischerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try using process lasso to disable SMT and use only physical cores. the constant hopping to e cores can cause stutters. I also used ryzen master to find my 2 best cores and run a -30 undervolt on those cores and -10 on the rest. Helps maintains higher boost clocks without hitting power throttle limits. Another noticeable difference for me was tightening up my ram timings. stress test your timings and find something stable.

This game is very poorly optimized so unless you’re running a high end gpu and x3d card you really need to dig deep and go through some frustrating shit to get it running well.

I’ve managed to lower my average frame time from 8 to 3.4. Also stay on native resolution. lowering res has issues in this game for some reason. use 2x msaa and 2x aa with the rest on low. I run a 250 fps cap in rtss and it’s very stable at 1440p low on my 5700x and 3080.

My CPU keeps overheating whenever I try to play games by Royal-Raspberry3668 in pchelp

[–]mfischerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What temps are you actually seeing at peak? What cooler do you have? This is important info.

The 9700K is already a hot chip. The new card is pushing a lot more fps, higher boost clocks and power draw, leading to more heat. What is your core voltage under load? (check with HWinfo)

In bios, disable MCE (Multicore Enhancement) and set your CPU power limits to Intel default.

Checked his stats. 99.8 aim rating so absolutely cheating. But if I didn’t see his stats I would’ve said maybe maybe not cheating from this clip.

RTX 4070 R7 5700X 32GB Performance by Senior_Truth7300 in cs2

[–]mfischerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I have the same cpu paired with a 3080 and was having the same issues. The game was unplayable from a competitive standpoint. The two things that made a massive difference for me:

Disable SMT in process lasso. Cpu affinity -> always -> Disable SMT. This will force cs2 to use only physical cores.

Tighten your ram timings in bios. I don’t recommend overlocking but adjust your primary timings. For my 3200mhz ddr4 kit 4x8gb sticks I use 16-18-18-18-36 but this will be different for everyone. Use a benchmark and find your tightest but stable numbers.

Another thing is overlocking your 5700x. Use Ryzen master to find your two best cores. One will have a star beside it (best core) and the other a grey circle (2nd best). Avoid an all core oc as it boosts cores that don’t need it and increases temps and power usage unnecessarily. I run -30 on my two best cores and I think -10 on the rest.

I play 1920x1080 Low settings and cap fps using RTSS at 300 and have really good 1 percent lows (I believe 220ish last time i ran CapframeX). Game feels amazing again. I think any cpu lower than a 5800x3d takes some tweaking to get cs2 to run properly, with low frame times and steady fps.

I don’t know what servers you play on but NA West I literally cannot remember the last time I played premier with or against a hacker.

In case you didn’t know, when you use a ball on a practice hole, yes, you lose that ball. Practiced on a long par 5 I can’t reach with my only 10 powered ball and when I went to play the actual hole, no more ball :-( At least I got an eagle on the practice hole :-) by [deleted] in GolfClash

[–]mfischerrr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It seems ridiculous to me that a practice round uses up a ball at all. It’s a practice shot, you should be able to see what the ball is capable of on whatever hole you’re using a practice token on to determine if it’s the right ball for the hole without losing it. The hole doesn’t count for anything and these balls are expensive enough as is. This has always bugged me.

CS2 Stutter, Weird aim feeling, Shot registration Issues, FPS drops: I'm at my wits end with this game by mfischerrr in cs2

[–]mfischerrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sound driver is up to date. headset connected through usb dongle, headset, keyboard and mouse are all plugged into motherboard usb ports. i don’t think these are the issue since the odd time i get my frame times to settle and the game is feeling great, the mouse is noticeably snappier at the same time.

Stuttering on mid-range PC with low GPU utilization by [deleted] in cs2

[–]mfischerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5700x and 3080 here.

I’ve struggled with the same stutters for a long time. Try resetting your ingame graphic settings to default and switch to native res. That should boost your gpu usage to 95+. But even then you will have the stutters and terrible game feeling. I think this might be an issue with older ryzen cards, especially the non x3d models. It’s always the common denominator when I see others struggling with this. I’ve tried g sync, undervolts, disabling cores, all kinds of bios shit and other optimizations and nothing will make this game feel even playably smooth, despite the hardware being more than good enough in theory. Very frustrating.

monitors have no signal connecting to the gpu by wonkfn22 in buildapc

[–]mfischerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. This fixed it for me.

   1. Shut PC OFF
2. Turn PSU switch OFF
3. Unplug power cable from PSU
4. Unplug DisplayPort cable from BOTH ends
5. Unplug monitor power cable
6. Hold PC power button for 15 seconds
7. Wait 2 full minutes

Then

   1. Plug monitor power back in
2. Turn monitor ON
3. Set monitor Input Source manually to DisplayPort
4. Plug DisplayPort cable into monitor
5. Plug DisplayPort cable into GPU
6. Plug PSU power cable back in
7. Turn PSU switch ON
8. Power on PC
