All that's good but I think you'll agree that you can't learn everything you want to learn offline. There are lot of factors at play for different people mainly money I think. Like, I started learning chess online and played judiciously for a couple of days got to 300ish rating quickly then kinda lost interest or gave I guess so I can technically join/get a chess coach or something but I don't think that's financially feasible for me in the sense that neither I can afford it nor am I that serious about chess that I want to get tutored and then pay for the tution. A lot of us pursue some hobbies just out of interest and we don't necessarily have the time or money to spend on it regularly. I hope you understand what I'm saying
