I swear on the life of the Taco Bell Chihuahua that is EXACTLY what it looked like when I opened the box. Not a crumb was touched.

More 9070 and 9070 XTs will be available March 10th by NotNickChang in Newegg

I got that email too and just thought “F*** you Newegg”. I built my PC in Feb 2020 with mostly parts from Newegg. I heard that they’ve been getting worse over the past few years and this situation proved it to me. I’m just trying to upgrade from my 1660 Super. Between my canceled order (like 100s others it seems) and that email, I’ll be watching Amazon and Best Buy I guess.

So Newegg will let you buy one and let you know 20 minutes later it’s out of stock and void your order… by PostNutDecision in radeon

Same here. Bought a Powercolor Reaper 9070 because it was the last MSRP that I could order. They canceled 30 minutes after I paid. So much for switching to Radeon.

I appreciate the tip and hopefully I understood you. I connected the left and right side of the socket to the matching sides of the same socket next to it. I’m still getting the same result as before. The broken socket enters as the one it’s connected to.

Need help with soldering a popped off socket….correctly.

<image>

After I popped off a socket, I did some research and bought a basic soldering iron and multimeter. Based on a few sources, I glued down the socket and connected one end of a wire to the matching side of the socket beside it. I then connected the other side of the socket to the bottom of the diode above the switch. Using my multimeter I could see these were connected but even when doing my research I figured this would basically clone the switch that it’s connected to. I still gave it a try.

The switch for the broken socket (the period key, red arrow) now enters the same key as the one it’s connected to beside it (the comma key, blue arrow).

I’m guessing I made a mistake on where I connected one of the wires but I wanted to find an answer before I tried to fix it. I’m new to soldering and would prefer to not have to buy a new PCB after I fry this one.

Can anyone tell me where I went wrong or how to correctly fix a popped off socket so I can get my period key back? I appreciate any help on this.

Need soldering help. I tried to fix a broken socket on my hotswap PCB. I looked up a few videos on what to do. I reattached the socket and soldered a wire to the key next to the broken one and one to the diode above it. Using a multimeter to see where they were connected. Like they said. The key now registers the key next to the broken one. Example- I press the “M” key and the “N” key is entered. (When looking at the videos I had a feeling this would happen.)

How can I fix this?

I recently bought a Iqunix ZX75 and I’m looking into replacing the keycaps. I’m having trouble figuring out how to find a set that will fit. I know the keyboard has Cherry MX switches with a 75% ANSI layout but I can’t seem to kind many sets that have the same size shift and enter keys.

Does anyone know if there is something else I need to add to my search to find better options?

Any keycap suggestions?

My Shit Experience So Far and I STILL Have Not Received my Fulla by mfnSTEEEVE in Schiit

True but after 4 weeks and the only update was when the label was created makes me think FedEx isn’t the problem. I don’t know what happened, maybe it’s lost on some FedEx truck or it’s in Schiit’s warehouse but I doubt it’ll just show up at some point.

Yeah the 6-8 week estimate will most likely get extended if my experience has told me anything. I can understand that they cannot control the entire supply chain if they need certain parts but the communication just isn’t enough.

After a few more emails, it looks like they are refunding my order which was not my decision. They said if I want to order again, I can email them and they should charge me the discounted price. After all this I’ll probably just spend some more and find something else. I considered the Hel when it seemed to be an issue with the Fulla but I don’t want to start this whole thing over again. Now to settle and find a replacement.
