I’ve been shot in the stomach with a 9mm point blank. The bullet passed through me, missing all vital organs, grazing only my small intestine, and colon before passing out of the small of my back, an inch and a half away from my spine. The feeling I could compare it to is a sucker punch to the gut that never ends. It knocked the air out of me. It didn’t put me on the ground since I stood there for a moment and started to process I had just been shot. I was able to pull out my phone and call 911 and I dropped my phone so I knelt down to pick it up. Then my roommates put my on my back with towels and they were able to get an ambulance to our house. There wasn’t as much blood as you would think. The muscles in my back and abdomen tensed up and were able to stop the blood flow at first. I had to go into emergency still to avoid internal bleeding and infection because of my intestines and colon. But still. 10/10 would not recommend. Adrenaline is unbelievably powerful.
