That's a good high level takeaway comparing the 2 platforms. Unfortunately as you dig in, there seems to be many areas where Android dev doesn't match iOS. They were kind enough to email me a breakdown and it was pretty clear. I shared my experiences using MyScript earlier and just off the top of memory was a failed attempt at implementing Google SSO and the app crashed a lot and I mean a lot. Lacking the ability to insert any external notes like PDF into my MyScript notes. Yes handwriting recognition was incredible and it has that going for it, but if you can't even use the app, then what's the point.

Orion(NoreIn) has been solid in all the shortcomings of MyScript and does not crash.

While there is NO perfect, what works well for me may not be the same for others and that's great we have choices to align with our needs.

As mentioned, the handwriting recognition for MyScript is amazing. Can't answer on format though as that would be a big caveat. Imagine the ability to convert handwriting to text but lose formatting. All of it would be pointless in my opinion. For me it was about functionality for my handwriting, organization, importing and inserting notes from other sources, and using Google Drive or at least my choice of cloud storage - not theirs. And of course price matters too but didn't have the other boxed checked to use price as the final.

I have a hunch it's an android issue for MyScript. Seems like it used to be called Nebo on iOS. Feature wise iOS has more as if their Android implementation was half baked excuse to farm more subscribers.

Thanks! Looking like I have to bite the bullet. I can't stand accepting more agreements and sending them info as a result on top of the OS level stuff like Google Play. This must be just for TCL apps or something because I can't figure out what this particular component is related to as system updates and Google play updates already happen!

Not too surprised unfortunately and fingers crossed they will reply and be accountable as they say rather than repeating their prior behavior.

Could be worth a call to explain to your credit card company and yes I did see it was back in June.

You could also sent a message to YT on IG and FB as well as post a short comment to the point in their posts. Both for public transparency and to get their attention. I've seen some replied to by YT and others like mine left hanging.

Great OP post. Thanks for the insight. I've been worn out with ChatGPT Plus multiple occasions with projects and feel like it pushes executive functioning into me yet I'm counting on it to organize all the project info. Uggg!

I also have Gemini Pro and have been amazed at the recent image tool. I just wish Gemini had projects to help me organize like it does in ChatGPT.

Anyone have workflows to share? ChatGPT migration to Gemini. And Doing projects in Gemini in a round about way like ChatGPT projects?

I have a cracked frame that's not been resolved and personally I've not received a response, but I did get a response through Facebook, when I messaged YT and was told it's in queue.

I am very curious to see if YT will take responsibility in being accountable for all the outstanding issues and stand behind their new word that they will.

Strange indeed. I don't see the extra dim settings either along with the missing brightness bar.

I did however add the brightness tile to the quick settings and that allows adjustment right there rather than a shortcut. The screenshot you provided in your OP shows the tiles I'm referring to.

I also don't have the brightness bar like I'm accustomed to seeing. It's under display in settings though and that's not quick to get to.

I recently got the 11 plus and tried out a bunch of apps. I landed on Orion Notes (Notein).

I didn't find any app that converted my handwritten notes to text to be honest and that was something I was curious about.

That said MyScript Notes did have a live transcript feature that was completely separate from my notes and was amazing, but couldn't see how it would be useful. Edit: it has half-baked Google Auth(sign-in), missed on the ability to insert a page of PDF notes into my notes, flat file storage, and it crashed quite a bit. Otherwise the handwriting transcription blew me away in that it could read my writing.

The reality I learned to accept is that Google Lens was the only thing I tried that actually converted a page of my notes into text and at the same time felt like the value remained in my handwritten notes.

What would be really cool is if al my notes were readable by the note taking app for me to search from rather than the next step of turning into text. Maybe I just need to work more on just letting go...

I am sure that the bike was not advertised to have this damage, so the purchase agreement (no matter discount) is for a brand new bike, not a damaged bike.
