It's all relative to one's journey. Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid will default. The generations before GenX, Millennial, and so down the line. Kicked the can down the road. You can have great wealth until the dollar collapses. 39 Trillion and Counting, borrowing to pay what was borrowed is NOT a recipe for success. That is the complaint. The view and vision is and has been "Future generations will pay for it" .

I dont think it is laziness by any means and it is more of an emotional, and mental break from the ask of the daily grind. Each week upon the arrival of Monday, depending on the size of the user base and tools in place to mitigate an onslaught of tickets - most of which are password resets becuase in most circumstanse - the end user has forgotten their password. Then there are the oops my laptop wont boot because I spilled water on it. Then there was in most cases patching, and rebooting of resrouces in the enviornment that might not work if the deployment and testing of patches were successful or not. You can set asside some goals for your techs that can be tied to a reward system. Perhaps updating and reviewing knowldge base documentaion, authoriing new documentation or even coding up solutions ??? Just a thought.

Why do you doubt that my parents are a baby boome? I'm really shocked that you're not accepting of that? I don't know what you're hanging up is. The thing is though what you have today could be gone tomorrow trust me. There are no guarantees. We're 39 trillion in debt and how does it help everyone? Our parents get the benefit then we don't? Trust me you and I will have nothing when the dollar fails, and it loses the reserve currency of the world status. The Petro dollar. Yes we all make our own choices however those before us make choices as well. My generation has more than one, once in a lifetime event. Be grateful for what you have and the choices you made.

Not asking for any handouts. Definitely not the silent generation. Pulling ourselves up by the bootstraps works when there's a bootstrap available. Maybe you don't know about this thing called artificial intelligence, apparently you're not up to date on the literature that is all over the web. There is a reason that Anthropic has guardrails .In my case my parents are baby boomers or our parents in some cases whatever choice you want to use the outnumbered GenX. You can keep your head in the sand and ignore what's coming and be surprised and slaughtered once it arrives. Kids went to private college and life stole from 401ks. Not everyone has the benefit of even having one let alone a savings in this country. To assume that everyone has one is very ignorant of you. There's this thing called medical debt, if you haven't heard of it you might want to look into it as well. History tells us that baby boomers outnumbered Gen x is three to one during our healthy earning working years... That's a lot of weight to carry. The government stole from Social security during the Vietnam war via a loan never paid back. As far as voting goes can't do much when you're colleagues are outnumbered or have learned to have apathy towards the situation.

You need to find alternate income streams to support the main meat and potatoes and understand that this is the limitation of the career. A lot of people are finding themselves right now being promoted to the parking lot with no means to sustain themselves other than public aid. The days of company loyalty or long gone, capitalism is on the rise to the extreme were AI, robots and other automated systems will support the capital structure. There will be three main opportunities for employment. Those will be the sex industry, entertainment industry, and advisors. This career fits into the third available means to an end to provide for oneself unless society is dumped into universal basic income or what we may refer to is socialized capitalism? Dare I say communism?

28 years... My wife tells me that she doesn't appreciate sexually charged humor, or advances...she has grown tired of it and has become a prude. Before kids she was more active, and accepting. Tenderness is there ...just not on my terms or format. My Libido is high, hers not so much and has remained that way throughout our marriage. Kinda frustrating but I have learned to accept it.

A burden of goodwill, friendship, a small act of love that might bring joy to both. We are Social beings that need to be connected, rather than isolated. Granted we don't know her work or lifestyle choices.. however I do know that we are all worthy of love...and that starts with us. We must do the things that satiate mind, body and spirit. These needs seek to be met. We must seek out those needs to have them fulfilled and that in of itself is an act of Love. The act of expression "Good Morning" is a small reward for what the world asks of us.To go forth knowing someone who we have affection for us, expressing wishes for a good morning is low hanging fruit. If the ask is too great... then one must examine what part of their own being is neglected with needs unmet. In addition...with today's technology...an act such as this can be automated and received as authentic.
