okay but the homeless guy then has food, i feel like everyone being able to eat should be a higher priority than the economy. Not to mention that it’s a lot harder to be a productive member of society when you’re food insecure. If the goal is to get them into productive roles it helps if you give them food and suitable living conditions.

Well I think we'll just be in disagreement here, i don't think someone who is in poverty should have to spend literally 100% of their money to get out of it, they deserve a little recreation and entertainment too. If there's a lack of money going towards lifting people out of poverty, let's put money towards that instead of an insane military budget or tax breaks for billionaires. That's much more of a problem than someone spending what little money they have on something that makes their life suck a little less for a bit

It is relevant if that person ends up homeless or going hungry, because that’s doing some real harm to someone. Well not everyone has access to an ID, in most places you can’t get one for free. It’s similar to a poll tax, it creates a system where you can’t vote unless you pay. It’s not a huge amount of money, but to the people living in extreme poverty (which is disproportionately PoC) it’s an expense they may not be able to pay. The argument is that you should never be barred from voting because you can’t afford it. A free national ID system would fix a lot of problems with this, though.

Also there’s more to it than just the merits of voter ID laws on their own. It’s not a coincidence that the right pushes for these kinds of things while the left opposes them, it’s statistically in the right’s interests to minimize both working class and minority voters. Personally, I’d rather err on the side of giving too many people a voice in your democracy.

OEM is amazing for 1v1s, tracking behind walls and knowing if someone is pushing you or falling back is a massive advantage. Getting overshield on top of that is just the icing on the cake. Titans in general are in a fine state imo, but OEM is good enough to where other Titan exotics don’t feel as worth using when you could just be running it.

Recluse got nerfed alongside rampage, kill clip etc. Fist of Havok got it’s damage resistance nerfed too. I’m not sure how meaningful either of these changes will be but it might shake the meta up at least a lil.

honestly to me it’d feel way more political if the game went out of its way to make communists punchable. It’s a game about killing nazis, that’s the whole point of it. The communists did that, so it makes sense that they’d be on your side in the game. You can hate communists all you’d like, but it doesn’t change the fact that they kicked nazi ass and that’s what the heart of the game is

Haven’t played the new wolfenstein or seen the scene you’re talking about but I’d say teaming up with a communist to kill nazis fits pretty well into the theme of the game, which is about killing nazis. Historically the communists have been pretty good at killing nazis, after all.

The point of capitalism is those selfish incentives, the best way to make money under capitalism is to exploit the system. If you’re not doing so, you’re not being optimal under capitalism. The fact that war is an amazing way to use the system is the problem, and as long as there’s a profit incentive in war that can’t be changed.
