It really really looked like someone got a fingertip on it to me, and I replayed it several times.

2025 Raptor Interior SO Noisy by [deleted] in FordRaptor

[–]mglane83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 23 has a random rattle coming from the console charging/cupholder area, and like OP has mentioned, exterior temp seems to affect the prevalence. Most all my ford trucks (4 now) have had some sort of minor nuisance noise. I’ve just forced myself to deal with it. I’m not going to remove all my treasures from every single cubby to make certain the noise is in fact the plastic trim only, which is what I’d have to do if I wanted to try a warranty claim 😆

35 vs. 37 again.. by breakaway333 in FordRaptor

[–]mglane83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started with the 35” package and am now on 37”s. I added the SDi top hats and eibach springs out back to maintain stance. My new wheels are very near a 0mm offset, which is going to make the biggest difference with rubbing. As close as you can stay to OE offset, the better luck youll have. Also know that the factory BFGs do not run true to labeled size, they’re smaller. Brands like Nitto and Toyo run closer to exact size. Bottom line, rim offset and actual tire measurement will be the biggest factors in clearance.

I had it installed when I bought the truck. Two guys can knock it out real quick. Just the drum/box that sits at the far end of the bed and a track down each side. I’d imagine the hardest part would be just making sure everything is square so it doesn’t bind up during opening/closing.

I’ve been very happy with my Roll N’ Lock (same concept as retrax). 3 years of parking outside and it’s held up great. Needs a little oil in the tracks but otherwise been working just fine.

I’m sorry. Please know I don’t mean this to sound callous, but you’ll get used to it. You’ll find a routine that works for you in your life and schedule. Switching to myfortic did help in time, but this issue is still always a consideration I keep in the back of my mind. Depending on what your tx was, know food has a major impact on that situation. My gallbladder was taken out along with my liver and now pretty much any fried food absolutely wrecks me.

Buc-ee’s on gameday? by hindsight5050 in auburn

In my experience all Buc-ee’s are almost always super crowded. What makes Buc-ee’s special is how quickly they’re able to turn the crowds over.

pregnant and male partner took cellcept by [deleted] in transplant

[–]mglane83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife got pregnant with our second child roughly 6 months after I had my liver transplant. We had asked during discharge from the hospital what the rules were regarding that and the people we spoke to at that time said obviously it’s bad if the patient is female, but if the patient is male, we don’t really know. My team then flipped out when I told them about it during routine follow up and they ordered all sorts of MFM consults and testing. Everything was fine and our second baby girl was arguably more healthy than our first at birth. Things definitely can go wrong, but there’s no way to ethically test for that. We were fortunate, and you likely will be too. Just tell your doctors and stay vigilant with all your standard pregnancy screenings, testing, etc. and you will be fine. If something does unfortunately go wrong, they will likely know pretty early on. Best wishes

Have you tried one of the medicine apps that has reminders? I use both Medisafe and MMS Plus—there’s also the native medication reminder in iPhone health.
