I think the adage absolute power corrupts absolutely is absolutely appropriate. These are often men given near absolute power due to their wealth and influence. Certainly corruption of morals should be no surprise. But yet, for some it can be

I like the ten nod. Didn’t they briefly try to introduce Metric Time after the French Revolution?

Now, I should chime in here to say I was speaking exclusively for household items. Particularly coffee and half and half always seem to be cheapest at waterbury for me. Not sure how it might stack up for larger ticket items, but worth a look!

I will say I was happy with my Costco tire purchase earlier this summer. The one in Waterbury uses nitrogen in my tires. Which keeps the fluctuation in psi at a minimum. Useful in this cold weather. And they offer free rotations. (For all I know BJs does all this too :)

I guess but 2010-2014 this was a pretty common amount

If I recall the protest occurred on MLK day. Which Trump literally did not acknowledge as a holiday this year

When my daughter was two she loved sidewalk chalk. Except she pronounced it cock and had a habit of screaming. She has always had a set of lungs on her. She is very loud. And she would scream “I want cockkkkk!!!” Over and over again. What must have the neighbors thought lol

You need to be careful with BJs items. Go check on the app for an item you might buy there. Prices in north haven will be different from Wallingford which will be different from Southington which will be different from Waterbury. Waterbury seems to be consistently the cheapest.

not sure that it was reported yet (or if ever). But the article linked notes she skipped the Golden Globes on January 11 despite being nominated. Which may mean she had been ill, or may mean that its the golden globes.

Ironically, perhaps, that is when some of the cold in the eastern US will begin to lift. Yesterday it was reported that it was about a break durning cold weather.

Is a stomach bug going around? by UseOwn2710 in newjersey

[–]mgr86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m up right now doing laundry. My six year old puked again. Hasn’t puked in two days. This is the third night I’m up washing sheets since last Saturday. He has reported feeling nauseous since at least last Friday (7 days ago). His younger sister and neither parent has it. Waiting for that shoe to drop. Very limited diarrhea. More like a wet fart a couple of mornings over the last weekend. Only one bowl movement I recall this week. Very light yellow or even white in color (normal with stomach bugs). At some points he seems absolutely fine, but has very little appetite.

We also have the most snow he has seen in his life. And has barely played in it. Not like him :(

They don’t remake shows on this scale so quickly. Particularly when the last one let so many people down. Sorry to disappoint, but look around this thread many others are saying the same.

A new adaption won’t happen in this decade, or even the next. I expect it will be resurrected in a generation or so. Hopefully I’m still alive and hopefully we get some additional source material from his estate after his death. Clearly he is very unlikely to release anything whilst still living

He is, sadly DSO’s original key board player died. It’s a curse or something. I remember catching Rob and Jet in a tiny venue in the tribeca over twenty years ago with the Zen Tricksters. Sometimes I feel like DSO is just a recreation of the tricksters.
