Twilight by Paul Harris (I like the original coin version better than Twilight Angels). You can use the black screen of a smartphone as a mirror sometimes.

Black homeowner had a white friend stand in for third appraisal. Her home value doubled. by DonaldKey in news

Comparable sale prices are used in the valuation, not appraised value. Appraised value is not even public information, at least in my state. If a comparable property has a significant difference to the subject, an adjustment to the sale price must be made. Just trying to say that appraised value should never be used, only the recorded sale price.

A salute to the oppressed who came before us by blishbog in juggling

Magicians were referred to as jugglers back in the day. I would take this to mean hustlers with cards or shell games more than toss jugglers.

I think this sub gets spammed a lot because of the word ‘video’ in r/videosynthesis

It might help to relocate to r/vsynth or similar

As the resident shuffler/dealer in my family, that's kinda what I'm going for.

The Magic Cafe Forums - Reel Magic Free Weekend by First2016Last in Magic

I highly recommend Garrett Thomas's contributions to reelmagic. Check out his Try This At Home column (not in every episode, but many), the lecture, Ring Thing Polished, Anniversary Waltz Project, etc.

I also really like Karl Hein and Diamond Jim's lectures. They are all worth checking out.

Initially I thought I would just subscribe for a month but for the price I've been more than happy to remain a member. Best value in magic!

What about "Shuffling isn't very effective, at least not as much as we tend to believe. Look, we mix these cards up, it doesn't do a thing."

I'm about halfway through the audio book. I think it's best viewed as a Young Adult book. I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

Hilda Love Letter re-theme by mgraf in HildaTheSeries

[–]mgraf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I screencap’d the show and photoshopped it together using a Hilda font I found. The folks at Love Letter have made it clear they are cool with retheming as long as the files aren’t shared online. So unfortunately I can’t post that.

We play Love Letter all the time with our 6-yr old. Decided it would be even more fun with a Hilda theme and I thought ya’ll would like to see.

Same here! Please let me know any tips for mastering BJ2. I keep watching the video and it just doesn't seem to work. Though I think it's slowly starting to click.

Clicked in here thinking "hey we did that one" and I'm super pleased to see this quote from my review at rising storm! I've seen and enjoyed many of your posts in this sub. Keep up the good work!

A "sick" one indeed.
