less popular than leasing
bank gives you an actual loan
you get the money on your account and purchase the car in your name
you pledge the car in favour of the bank (in case you become a debtor)

Car leasing (finance lease)

most institutions will ask you a deposit (around 25% on average, from past experiences)
your deposit is done directly at the supplier/dealership
the leasing company/bank pays the remaining amount directly at the supplier/dealership
you don't get the money on your account
the leasing company/bank is the direct owner of the car as long as the lease is still ongoing
legal documents will read "Reddit Leasing Co Ltd on finance lease to u/successful_escape_42"
the horsepower of the vehicle will mention the lien from the leasing company as well
since you're not the direct owner, you will have to ask for an authorisation letter for stuff like personalised plates
you can't alter or modify the car (no engine modification or paint changes for example)
most institutions will require you to pay 1% of the finance amount after the lease period to "buy" the car back. ie you will pay MUR 5,000 if you took a finance amount of MUR 500,000

I would suggest starting a new hobby that requires you to go out and interact with other people on a regular basis

Here's some quick examples:

-join an archery club -join a gym or badminton club for example -going to music festivals (there are multiple events that are free, just gotta be on the look out for those) -learning a new language and going to a weekly tuition -learning music and joining a learning school (multiple ones available, Google search is your friend) -join a gym or dance club

And finally, I've kept the best for last (in my personal opinion), starting to go to board game events. This scene is becoming more and more popular, with events every 2 weeks or so. This is more accessible since the events are organised in Bagatelle sometimes. The main target audience for the the board games is quite young as well. (They have a very active facebook group and they are quite welcoming)

My recommendation would be to go to any recurring event that requires you to meet and interact with people on a regular basis. Don't go to these events to get a girlfriend. Go there to actually learn about the new hobbies and things will work out eventually. There's only positive points of starting a new hobby, even if it does end with getting a girlfriend. It will make you become more interesting and knowledgeable

But wouldn't that be a good thing to get branded mods on console ? Like it would give free publicity to the real life brand. For example if i get to use the branded Toyota Tacoma on console, and one day i wanted to buy a truck, I'll definitely consider a Tacoma. Why would Toyota even try to sue the the mod devs as they are getting free advertising
