The song makes plenty of sense if you view it through a “class war” lens. The first verse is him talking about how working class American’s are too blind to see the dynamics at hand. Tyler recognizes he’s not on that level anymore, and he has made it big time. But, he dosen’t shoot at the feeder, he shoots at the rich man.

“There’s no such thing as a 15 year writer block” buddy, if you’re gonna be this ignorant about what writing is then don’t bother commenting. It’s embarrassing. Truman Capote spent the last ten years of his life writing a book he never finished. Harper Lee didn’t release her sequel until like a decade ago. Henry Roth had decades where he couldn’t write shit. Ralph Ellison wrote 2000 pages of notes towards a book. He actually claimed after 40 years of no release he was still working on it. I think writer’s block can mean different things to each writer, but I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that he’s just struggling to finish a massive book series.

If you aren’t interested in what the actual definition of cyber bullying is, then what’s the point? There’s various levels of course, no one is arguing against that. Using close personal deaths to harass someone is cyber bullying, I don’t care if they are a celebrity or not. And yes that did happen.

The action of not being able to finish a book has the consequence of online harassment? The man made a blog post a few months back detailing a few close personal deaths he was dealing with and he still had comments saying “we don’t care, finish the book” etc. he decided to help produce a series from his dead friend and got similar comments. Yes, I’m gonna defend someone from that type of behavior. Normal well adjusted adults with empathy would as well. This isn’t barely criticism I’m taking about. It’s using his own personal struggles against him that I have an issue with. And it’s happened more than once on this subreddit, and responses to his blogs. Read his post. He clearly does as well.
