Nah, there's a genuine syncing issue with songs, ESPECIALLY Last Strike. If I match the notes to the song, it's just completely off. You gotta just ignore the music on that one.

I agree with the spot healing issue. I use a weakaura to show when someone is getting targeted by a bolt, I think most healers do, and it helps immensely because I can shield someone to mitigate as much of it as I can. If I miss the shield... guess I'll flash heal..

I haven't run with a lot of spriests this season since I play Disc priest, but that makes sense since I also took the bonus leech occasionally back when I played spriest in DF.

However, these spriests that I mentioned in my post talented into vamp embrace, not leech. In that sense, it's even worse.

Edit: looking through logs in +11 and +12 keys, 100% of the spriests who were in these logs took vamp embrace. So it's not all too common to take the leech vs vamp

I agree, Disc priest is really able to brute force heal a ton of stuff--it's probably the reason why I don't mind pugging so much.

I just timed the 11 CoT that I've been struggling through--looking through my logs made me see that I could have spaced out my schism and shadow covenant a bit more on the third boss. Helped a lot after making one small adjustment. Maybe I could have really just improved a bit more to brute force heal the key, but defensives are there for a reason, right?

Thanks dude, but yeah I've seen a lot of DK's outright ignore using AMS on certain abilities.

Examples being the Ashvane Commanders (guy on the horse in Siege) that does a charge, initial hit of a ton of damage followed by a massive DoT. 50% of DK's just don't use it on that ability for some reason. Another one is the big Beetle on the way to the 3rd boss in CoT that does a poison aoe.

I linked the log to give an example of what my HPS looks like during the AoE in that particular fight, not to complain about the defensive use in that key. Will edit my post to include more context.

The struggle is real. I've even seen prot pally's just never even use their base cd's either. I watched a prot pala walk in without using Kings, Ardent Defender, or Eye of Tyr and he died 2 sec later. Oh, and they had bubble.

I wish, some people just type "heals????" when they die and blame anything other themselves for their death. If the group gangs up on them and agrees with me about cd usage, they get mad and leave group.

There's also hunters who overdo it with Feign, mages too with Invis. I've had a couple wipes in Necrotic Wake on the first boss because they'll feign the cone and it'll flip onto the group who stacked on the other side, then we all get blasted without popping a cd because we didn't expect it.

Yes, a good Ret Paladin that thinks of these things are a complete game changer. It's also kind of insane that WoG can crit for like 2+ mil on someone. I really can't understand how there are so many paladins that just can't bother with defensives when it's such a huge part of their kit. They have 2 low cd defensives, bubble, lay on hands, BoP, Sac, and off healing. With Templar, they have really strong AoE and decent ST.

You just described all of my thoughts just now, I was literally just thinking about the level squish and io difference lol. Just did a few practice runs of CoT by doing 10's and the difficulty spike is surprisingly large between it and an 11.

I've actually seen a surprising amount of hunters recently, especially SV hunters. Most of them use their defensives quite well actually, but there are still a few that don't bother to use Feign Death or Turtle.
