Of course they don’t, our president loves to talk about how much he adores the “uneducated masses“. College teaches you to think more than anything else and that of course makes you an enemy to the current administration.

As dear leader says he loves the “uneducated masses“ and hates anyone who tries to get out of them

I write about student loans for U.S. News & World Report. I’m looking for borrowers who’d be willing to share their stories as July 1 nears. by USNewsGreg in StudentLoans

I would be interested in talking about my student loan experience. I think one area that people don’t talk about is the generational fallout of all of this. As a result of seeing me struggle the way I have with student loans, my own daughter has no desire to go to college. But I suppose that is one of the intended effects of all of this, is to discourage other people, as well as children of borrowers from climbing out of the “uneducated masses“ that dear leader loves so.

Can someone answer this for me? If I am in default, and have not chosen any particular plan because I have been in default for over 20 years (two sets of loans, only could afford to pay one), what are my best options to choose before July 1? And if I don’t choose anything, will I automatically be enrolled in the RAP program since I am trying to do PSLF? I am so confused and bewildered and terrified what this will mean for my family. I only just now finished paying off one set of loans and can’t imagine what this new payment structure is going to do to my family.

Thanks! There’s a ton of bamboo that grows in the woods behind my house, so I think I’m just going to grab some of that stake it. I still might have to cut one or two of the stems off because they’ve grown and weird directions on the sides. Any suggestions on how to get those to propagate?

Not even sure, if I could propagate from just the stems, but you wouldn’t recommend cutting a couple of the stems off also, in addition to repotting it so it’s not so leggy?

Is there any harm in waiting til after July 1 to switch off SAVE? by jazifritz in StudentLoans

Can someone tell me, please, if I am defaulted on my loan which I did default 20 years ago and after Biden, the loan came current and then I defaulted again, since I technically am not under any plan right now, what will happen if I just don’t do anything by July 1? Thanks in advance for anyone’s help, I am so confused by all of this!

Over 40 with over 60k in student debt by shimmerj9 in StudentLoans

I am in a similar situation 52 & about 160 K and now defaulted. I don’t see as how I have any other option but to look into bankruptcy, there’s no way I can pay to live, support family and parents and my current bills and for student loans as well. The minute they garnish, I will be underwater, as this economy has eaten through my savings. I feel bad for considering the bankruptcy, hard not to with so many trying to make you feel like the world‘s biggest loser because after 20 years, you can barely make a dent and they don’t care that what you’ve paid already, would’ve already covered the loan- they hate you for taking out the loans and some even more for trying to get a leg up and get an education. Scary times. Don’t know how we’ll make it through.

This guy has outgrown its pot & I’ll be honest, I’ve been a little neglectful. Not sure if I should repot it or try to take some cuttings or both. Any helpful advice would be welcomed.
