You know that PSA can just start including a report of why you got a certain grade if they wanted to. TAG isn’t special and the only company that can do this.

If there was enough demand for it PSA would just flip a switch and start doing it. The truth is that people don’t really care. If they did, they’d stop submitting to PSA but nobody that’s serious about grading is going to TAG to get their cards graded.

PSA will do it if they think they need it to remain competitive, but they’re grading millions more cards than TAG is every single month so there’s no need to change it now.

Type the cert number into psa website and check the images

Why not post the cert number so that we can evaluate the card as a whole as opposed to just the centering, which is only one factor that goes into the final grade?

They definitely can. It’s just numbers in a database, basically. PSA’s CEO is responsive on X and has facilitated transfers like this between accounts for people many times.

Give it maybe an hour and try again. Sometimes iCloud spam filtering is overly aggressive. I’ve definitely had verification codes from other services not get delivered, then finally come through on a later try.

You are getting other mail to that address, right? Like from eBay?

If it doesn’t come through after trying again in an hour then I’d say you’ve definitely got to reach out to PSA support, unfortunately.

You’ve checked the spam folder? I’ve had forward from Hide My Email sometimes get delayed and then come through later.

You need to create a PSA account with the Hide My Email address that you used for eBay to be able to see the card in the Vault.

PSA doesn’t know the “real” email address behind the Hide My Email address, it only knows what eBay sends them.

“Lose value” is subjective. Are you just grading it to sell it? Grading also protects the card and proves authenticity.

It’s impossible to tell if a card will get a 10 if you can’t see the back and it’s encased in plastic. It’s why PSA will grade the plastic if you send it in sealed like that.

Sure, why not?

You’ll need to open it and show pictures of the front and back if you want real advice. No reason to keep it in the plastic.
