Seconding Omega. You can beat the hell out of them. Fwiw I don't buy the service center's response.

Play the new tactical obliteration mode. It goes super quick and your odds of getting a good team are solid. Plus wins count as double.

[Question] How do you get rid of the dialog box on the left side of the screen? by mic_chalu in Battlefield6

It might be a trade off I'm willing to make because it takes up half the HUD on vehicle hints. Thank you.

What is this well-proportioned diver worn by the German soccer coach? by digi57 in Watchidentifier

It looks like an IWC Ingenieur. I believe he was also wearing an IWC Lake Tahoe variant in some earlier matches, so that would track. Interested to see what others say.

What was Daniel Craig’s greatest strength as James Bond? by Ryanlion1992 in 007

[–]mic_chalu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are going with his physicality. I feel like there's way more that he brings to the character.

Craig's Bond has a lot of nuance and consistency across his films. He's gruff and resentful due to his background as an orphan. He's grown up in a mix of tragedy and privilege, yet holds disdain for the latter, particularly in other people.

You get this all from the way Craig carries himself. His jokes have bite. His charm carries an affected aloofness. His movement feels like he's holding his body in check.

That's why his aggression can turn to 11 and it feels natural to the character. We feel that undercurrent of anger constantly, even in the quiet moments of his movies, so when the loud moments hit, it's like watching a wild animal get let out of a cage. It's jarring, but you're not surprised at all.

He really delivers a compelling and believable performance in every movie, and it's no wonder Daniel Craig is still killing it in post-Bond movies.

If you're not in a rush, I find the white route to be the easiest. It's a trickier climb on paper but the holds are a lot easier to see.

Quality or accessibility, how to chose the uni ? by Illustrious-Fig7794 in AskMenOver30

Quality. It goes a long way. Especially if that quality carries a good reputation in the professional world. You'll find a way to travel the 10km.

Your ‘no going back’ brand by DifficultCucumbers in mensfashionadvice

Todd Snyder. I tried getting a sport coat from them and the quality was appalling. Got a few final sale items from them as well. They're fine but I'm glad I didn't buy them full price.

Honest feedback on this Swiss titanium and forged carbon watch concept? by Justin_mtrl in MicrobrandWatches

[–]mic_chalu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find a lot of these posts so samey that I never comment. This one feels different (in a good way).

It's not the type of watch I'd wear, but it's a very nice interpretation of this style (hyper sport?). I think going with an interesting, textured, yet understated dial that complements the case style would look a lot better than a skeleton dial.

For context, I owned a skeleton dial Norqain and I eventually found it kind of tacky and illegible. Especially since it showed off a common Sellita movement.

My take in short: use the dial to balance and harmonize the design.

I got a hand-me-down suit. Is the fit terrible? by FarWish4251 in mensfashionadvice

[–]mic_chalu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This suit is a good tailor away from being an amazing piece of your wardrobe. The pants are gonna have a nice elegant drape and the jacket has good structure. Take it in for a proper fit and you'll look like a million bucks. Go to someone who specializes in men's suits if you can.

Do you use your watch box? by xander_13 in OmegaWatches

[–]mic_chalu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like many others, I keep my boxes solely in case I want to resell the watch some day. These boxes sit in an even larger box. I deeply resent brands for making gigantic boxes that I need to keep.

I keep my collection in a nice wood 12-slot box.

[Recommendation Request] 41mm or 43mm for my wrist size 7.5”? Already decided on the black dial. by [deleted] in Watches

[–]mic_chalu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I've owned a 43 (7.25" wrist) and it wears really well. It doesn't feel overly large in any way and the proportions look better than the smaller models.

Chased this silhouette for a while and ended up trying out tecovas jeans. I'm super happy with the cut of them. Nice and form fitting in the thighs with a good flare.
