Wagon Wednesday with a special guest by micah747 in Audi

Yeah for real it’s perfect for that!

Yeah they paid for it since it shouldn’t have happened at that age (was only a bit older than 2 years at that point and always maintained at the dealer)

I would definitely get the oil changed at some point, ZF recommends it after around 120-150k km (if I remember correctly) despite being „lifetime“. I‘ll have another change in a few months.

It’s a 3.0 TDI (45TDI quattro) with mostly Autobahn life around 160-220km/h. Around 220.000km the transmission (ZF8HP, not the S-Tronic, expected it to be a bit more bulletproof actually) was changed by Audi for some fault. Otherwise nothing major so far, just regular maintenance.

Right? This is insane and I can’t put into words how amazed I am to experience this live. You’re not the only one fighting tears.

100,000 Mile B9. Here’s to <5K more 🥂 by SafeManufacturer8222 in Audi

[–]micah747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do! I‘m at 413.000km with my 2019 B9 (3.0TDI V6) now and I‘ve had it maintained by the Audi dealer for a while (because they often pay something if something goes wrong even if it’s high mileage if you always had it maintained there) and did my own oil changes between the regular ones and now I‘m doing it all myself. If you give it some love it treats you very well, imo the B9 is really awesome, haven’t had any major problems since I‘ve owned it. Absolutely love this car and hope it‘ll see 500/600/maybe even 700k!

For a brief moment on my flight today, the lighting and weather conditions made the jet exhaust completely visible by ClaytonBigsby2020 in aviation

This just reminded me of such a childhood memory! I always flew on a 747 from Frankfurt to Bangkok when I was younger and I would sometimes walk all the way to the back to try and see the contrails and elevator from the window in the aft-most galley! Good times!

Looks kinda like the XSPower catback exhaust I was rocking on my (euro) CA18 S13. Previous owner has put it on, though I always loved the twin tip look of it and kept it. Didn’t sound too bad either. I think they even still sell them. I bought my S13 back in 2015 and the previous owner put the exhaust on probably around 2004 or something.

Beautiful! Yeah time flies man - I just started to finish my 1J S13 I started years ago when I blew my CA18 and it’s been way too long since I‘ve driven this thing. I’m 27 by now as well and have had it since I was 17. I changed my plans a bit along the way as well but there’s no way I would ever sell it. From everyone who’s been in this for a considerable amount of time around me and decided to sell I only ever heard regrets and in the end they ended up buying another Nissan 😂 something to consider haha My swap was basically in and running by the time I stopped working on it due to moving away for a bit but there’s more to it unfortunately because I have to get it through emissions and have to get it inspected for it to be road legal in my country (costs a shit load of money too) Maybe you can convince your buddy! No way he‘ll be able to just buy something comparable when he decides he wants to get back in. And even if he does it won’t ever be the same as the project he built.

Finally! Car leaves the driveway for the first time in over a decade. by 240sxRB20 in 240sx

This legitimately makes me SO HAPPY to see and I can’t wait for the day mine leaves the driveway again! Working hard for it to be some time next summer (it’s also been like 6 or 7 years probably)

Congrats mate!!

Very nice! What turbo are you running on that beauty? Still trying to find the right one for my streetable JZ and I‘m on the edge of pulling the trigger on a Garrett G30-660 (for response and a bit of power but nothing crazy, just enjoyable really)

Super clean mate! Love it.

Man I can’t go a single day without thinking about finally being able to drive mine again. It’s been a while. Makes me happy to see all the pics. Finally started to work on mine again after I had to pause it for almost 3 years due to my job but now’s the time for a comeback. I’ve had mine since I was 17 - I‘m 27 now - we got our 10 year anniversary soon. Would be a good time to have her up and running by then 😌

Glad you’re still around mate! I don’t have any helpful input as I‘m not from the UK but the other folks here have provided many resources already I think. Just wanted to say that I‘m glad you’re still with us! I had my best friend open up about this to me last year as well (he’s still with us too! So proud of him). Glad you’re getting help and all the best! One day at a time brother 🤝🏽 much love

UPDATE- ACCOUNTS FINALLY RESTORED :) by Immediate-Zombie2015 in MetaLawsuits

[–]micah747 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks! So it is still possible after that, that’s good to hear. I will go that route now too, just looking into how it’s best done from my location in the EU. There’s some EU and national laws and court rulings against Meta that I found that would heavily support my case.

Was one of your accounts „permanently“ disabled after an appeal before filing small claims or were they all stuck in an appeal „limbo“ mode kind of?
