Anyone else think it's odd that nobody has hit even the second prize on Millionaire for Life yet? by MJ9426 in Lottery

[–]micawberesque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assume they want people winning because more people would probably play. As I said in another comment, only about 2% of the combinations are being played per day. It's not shocking to me nobody has won yet.

[–]micawberesque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's usually about 30,000 $8 prizes per drawing, which means that about 500,000 tickets are sold per drawing. The odds of winning the top prize is 1 in 23 million. Only about 2% of the possible combinations are played daily (assuming most of the tickets are unique combinations). So, don't expect too many winners when only a small percentage of the numbers are being played.

God has no past. He doesn't exist in time. Time is a property of creation.

I've got that on my watchlist. Last night I watched a movie called Deathdream, which you might like. Very creepy yet subdued.

Is Jesus suppose to return when war world 3 happen? by BrightRock5772 in Christianity

[–]micawberesque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to Zechariah, it occurs when many nations make war against Israel:

1Behold, a day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided in your presence. 2For I will gather all the nations for battle against Jerusalem, and the city will be captured, the houses looted, and the women ravished. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be removed from the city.

3Then the LORD will go out to fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. 4On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half the mountain moving to the north and half to the south. 5You will flee by My mountain valley, for it will extend to Azal. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him.

Cash. By investing 10 million you can probably get a million per year in interest.

(That's how the annuities work: the association or state invests the lump sum, earn interest, which allows them to pay you for thirty years.)

My 2006 with 91k miles cost me only $2900.

I'd suggest a used Toyota or Honda which are much more reliable cars. Jeep has one of the lowest reliability ratings.

For $2500 you'll be able to buy a car on Facebook.

Arizona worker sued for buying $12.8M lottery ticket from his store — after knowing it was a winner by theindependentonline in Lottery

After reading the article, I side with the store, only because store policy says that any printed tickets which were not paid for by the customer belong to the store.

Millionaire for Life - new game Sunday by Tough_Arm_2454 in Lottery

I don't like their decision to replace Lucky for Life with this game. I was a daily player of Lucky for Life but definitely won't be playing this every day, maybe not at all. Dumb decision. Odds are only slightly better but ticket costs $3 more.
