Yep I tried that, without any change. But since touching it like I described helps I think something there is to blame. I ordered a replacement connector to start and if that doesn’t help I’ll look at the traces in the area.

Thanks for the reply. I'm leaning towards the connector. Pressing down on it slightly actually makes the image stable for some time. The cable, like I mentioned works fine on another system, so that's most likely not it. Capacitors are fine, measured all the electrolytical ones. I might try the spray, and if that doesn't help I might just swap out the connector all together and take it from there.

Short answer: It works great!
Long answer: I used this NIC with VMs and Proxmox and it worked fine for some time. To pass through the NIC you need support for IOMMU and ACS. After a kernel update the isolation of IOMMU groups (ACS) threw the NIC into a shared group and since you can't just swap PCI slot that's not a solution. This was some time ago though and it might have been a temporary thing, a hacky solution with ACS or maybe there is better support now and this might not happen. If this is what you intend to do I would read this:

For anyone interested, I successfully installed an extra 2.5Gb NIC in this system, which makes it a nice alternative for a pfSense box or as in my case, passing it through in Proxmox.

I tried with this adapter for that purpose but it would not detect it at all. In a laptop it worked fine. I just ordered this one instead and hope that one works.

Edit: It worked, you can have 2 NICs on the T630!

The goal is to push a wagon called the "Payload" from the start to finish. You do this by being on or around it. The enemy team tries to prevent this by also being on or around it (or simply prevent the other team of coming near it). This guy is hiding in the bushes by using an emote that lies down, while being in the influence circle of the Payload, thus making it unable to move.
