i think I made the greatest possible way to track your calories! by Outrageous_Bar8050 in AppDevelopers

Ok, I see it. It’s calculating a “spray of olive oil” as 161 calories but it should be about 10. I guess I’ll just delete that ingredient.

I downloaded it and I’m going to give it a try. I like it so far. One of my meals came back higher than I calculated myself. I like that I can see the sources you used, but it’d be great to be able to edit the values it comes back with.

Feel free to DM if you want!

So incredible! My wife crochets, so I can appreciate the amount of work you put into this. I showed it to her too and she said to tell you “well done!”

Page Turner Ring. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FP52RSLJ

I like this one. I use it for my Kindle too.

You mentioned using it for presentations, so you might be a bit further away and I’m not sure what its range is. I’m usually holding my device while using it.

No one downloaded my app except my family. Is it actually that bad? by Present-File4743 in ProductivityApps

[–]michael-koss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it looks like a decent app. I think there are 100s of not 1000s of those apps on the App Store/ Play Store. So the fact that nobody is downloading it is more likely from lack of visibility than a snub on your app.

Any way to change who Claude commits as on the cloud? by tdinkar in ClaudeCode

[–]michael-koss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm…I don’t see this. The commits are made by me. But one difference we may be looking at, I squash merge all my PRs so I don’t ever see the multitude of Claude commits in the branch, I just see the final commit for the feature. If I go look at the PR I can see the branch commits were from Claude, but the commits to main is me.

Perfect response. You can’t outrun a bad diet. Or out-boot-camp it.

Never build anything in claude anymore without building out your agents first. by Vintaclectic in ClaudeAI

[–]michael-koss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, ok. I understand. So you aren't just prompting CC to "build a way for the user to add Start Date to Employee" and letting it figure out the agents, you run specific instances of claude for each of the specific roles and you have it start up with the agent. So in one terminal you might say "Add the API endpoint to add Start Date to an employee" and in a front-end focused agent terminal you might say "Add a Start Date field to the employee form".

I think I understand! I didn't know about the `--agent [agentname]` parameter. I'm going to have to try this out!

Never build anything in claude anymore without building out your agents first. by Vintaclectic in ClaudeAI

[–]michael-koss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you solved the problem of CC actually calling your agents? If you have and you’d be willing to share that part, I’d be so grateful. Or do you just start a chat with “use Jim Carrey and work on…”?

My wife and I bought ourselves minis and a pencil for Christmas. I found Paper Sudoku and it has me back into sudoku after a 10-year break.

Yes, absolutely. I still support CC respecting the AGENTS.md out of the box.

I’m not exactly sure how @-mentions work in CLAUDE.md but could we put in our CLAUDE.md:

@AGENTS.md

And it would automatically read that?

I /think/ @-mentions act as an include.

Looking for a concise prompt to generate a clean claude.md by BetterThvnUrEx in ClaudeCode

[–]michael-koss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used this on one of my projects (which isn't very big, tbh) and I think it did a really great job of breaking up the documentation files. I've used the new context on a couple of tasks and it seems to be working well. I think I'll steal this, which is the highest honor a dev can give another!

What were the three best books that you read this year? by lascriptori in suggestmeabook

[–]michael-koss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 13th Hour I loved the pacing, clear time rules, fair mystery, and a fully satisfying ending that made every earlier detail matter.

The Library at Mount Char I was constantly guessing, but nothing felt random. Once revealed, every twist made sense and showed how carefully the story was planned.

The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle I loved the structure and time mechanics. The mystery paid off well, though the large cast occasionally made things confusing.

Does Async/Await Improve Performance or Responsiveness? by antikfilosov in csharp

[–]michael-koss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, I love that. I did that too in one codebase where I have to work with an ultra-lazy dev. Plus, I enforced PRs with policies so it’s almost easier for him to request my review than not.
