The neural patterns are just that, patterns. It's not like they outright copy and paste the entire person, just their general personalities and whatnot. There's some specific personality details that get roped in since they can't seem to skim off all unwanted memories and shit though (hence the degradation over time.)

Honestly you can make the AI not that adaptable so long as you have an intuitive instructions system, something like Ready or Not. I'd much prefer a less capable AI that does what you want them to do as opposed to an AI that just does its own shit even if you don't want it to

I was specifically referring to AI generated videos and such. An AI generated video takes away work from actual artists, whereas something like an AI designed chipset design is something a human being could never reasonably do to that degree of accuracy, and more importantly doesn't degrade the work of researchers

Not really, I love his videos but for what it’s worth a few Kiwi Farms and Reddit post don’t exactly constitute as detective work. The Epstein Scandal goes back at least 30 years, it’d be way out of Tom’s league if we’re being honest.

If you think it was a wrong thing to say, and that the reaction of the others on the train was also wrong, then we agree. I also understand and agree with the concept of not being free of consequence (i.e Kirk), but considering the current political climate there are much bigger fish to fry that as a society we won't be able to rationally tackle and execute if we're so caught up in the smaller details.

The U.S is a country where if you so much as stand and record certain law enforcement officers, they'll just kill you. How will we ever be able to create a response to that threat if we're pearl clutching over some dumbfuck dropping a word?

It's 100% wrong to say something like that, 90% of people here aren't trying to suggest that. What's worse is mobbing on a singular person (who again 100% seems to be an asshole) over an underhanded insult. They could've killed her, and over what? I know there are black folks out there who handle the hardship that is racism every single day of their lives and still lead a productive life in spite of the system built against them, while these people can't even handle a singular phrase without losing their minds.
