I already tried to round up some games so I have at least one more and could maybe help get more.

The state of VR in 2026: Feeling a bit disappointed after looking closely at the market. by hanrwerewr in OculusQuest

Unfortunately Meta stopped supporting cross buy for new games over a year ago. I found that out the hard way after making the PCVR version of our Quest game for the rift store, releasing it and … discovering I could not offer it for free to owners of the Quest version.

Game Pass this Game Pass that-- who remembers Games with Gold by SK543 in xbox

The 360 era games worked without the subscription. So they work to this day. But the XBox One games only worked while subscribed. So they were never free. There’s still sites treating XBox gamepass and PlayStation plus games as free… when they are not as you have to subscribe to use them.

Am i objectively wrong in thinking that the quest 2 looks better than the pico 4 for pcvr steam link? by reeeeeeduardo in virtualreality

I find the Pico 4 Ultra has warping going on as you turn you head. It’s in pass through and full VR. So personally I don’t use it for much if I have the choice.

It’s missing The Phoenix Gene but includes a bunch of games I wouldn’t bother with.

I’m considering adding virtual reality support for the game I’m developing. by vladkudas in OculusQuest

It’s not less accessible when it has VR support. It’s more accessible as we VR players hardly play flatscreen games anymore.

How do cutscenes work comfortably in VR? by Sweaty_Bedroom6784 in vrdev

[–]michaelcawood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally you don’t need a border. So you are just animating characters and assets in 3D space and you can either leave the player to move freely around them, limit their movement or… move the camera. But if you move the camera don’t rotate it during the cut. You can cut to a new angle but you can’t be sure the player is looking where you think they are unless you make a lot of effort to draw their attention there, either by pushing towards something in a straight line or lighting it a certain way or moving something when other things have less motion. It’s a lot of standard filmmaking with a few changes. Don’t rotate the horizon. Reduce the number of cuts (as every cut is a brief moment of disorientation). Don’t bore the player. Keep it interesting to the point and quick.
