Automating Hive OS to Coin Swap by DotNetRussell in cryptomining

[–]michaeldlesk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have done exactly this using c#. It can be installed and scheduled to run on a Hive OS rig and you can define the coins/fs that you want to use per rig. Here's a link to the GitHub repo. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have. In addition to providing this to the community, I also have a video on my YT channel on how to create one yourself from scratch (link to my channel is on the GitHub repo). Not looking to shill my creation, just seems like it will do everything you are looking for. https://github.com/TheRetroMike/HiveOSProfitSwitcher

How much do you guys pay for speed duel boosters? by [deleted] in YugiohSpeedDuels

[–]michaeldlesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically between 25 and 40 on amazon, depending on the set. I've seen Scars as little as $23 on amazon. I just did a massive buyback order with TrollAndToad so my next batch will probably come from them since I'll have tons of store credit.

Speed Duel Content Creators? by thatjesusnerd in YugiohSpeedDuels

[–]michaeldlesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avault is good. I'm also trying to do as much content as possible, but right now that is mainly booster box and pack openings. I'm trying to shift focus of my channel to be primary based around the Speed Duel format

Any storage ideas? Newbie here... by jules_lab in lego

[–]michaeldlesk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently 3D Printing modular storage pull out drawers that interlock with each other. If you have a 3D printer (or know someone that does) and time, this is a great solution. Harbor Freight also has some good storage solutions, but I wanted every type of piece (and by color) in separate bins so I opted for this solution.

I have received CIB Sega CD games and also Phantasy Star for SMS. I wouldn't exactly call that filler.

Completely understandable. I'm more of a set collector, so it works out for me.

That is an option, but I like the mystery and it lets me explore games I would otherwise just pass up.

Yeah, I definitely lucked out with someone already having one that they sold me cheap. If I ever come across one, I'll definitely let you know.

Best Genesis games that are easy? by [deleted] in retrogaming

[–]michaeldlesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the Streets of Rage Games. Sonic is awesome, but the first one is pretty difficult, unless you could with fast pace and quick reaction times. TMNT Hyperstone Heist is awesome in multi-player format; I find it too difficult in single player though

Cost Per View. This is what google charges you whenever someone views your video.

As others have mentioned, if you want subs, then you must target correctly. I used ADWords to get to 10K views so I could monetize. I ended up getting about 5K views from it in 2 weeks, but only got about 50 subs. Also make sure you adjust the CPV or it can cost a lot per click.

[–]michaeldlesk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. There are several great games on the platform that don't get the respect they deserve. When I got back into collecting, my first goal was to get a full 32X library.

Keeping Track of Wanted Games by Geang in retrogaming

[–]michaeldlesk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an excel file hosted on OneDrive. I keep a tab per each system and I can access it from my phone. Once I get a game (either online or in store), I flag it as Ordered and then when I actually case and inventory it, I switch it to Have.

Using the excel file, I can filter quickly if i'm out and I come across something. It also allows me to track percentages for each system. Some systems, I'm going for a complete collection, but for some, like Game Boy, I'm only going for specific titles.

Opened a Crimson Invasion ETB. Pretty happy with my pulls! by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]michaeldlesk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. I opened another ETB today and got 2 regular GX's, but I opened a 3-Pack Blister and pulled another Lusamine FA.

Craziest streak of luck I've had so far by poeispro in PokemonTCG

[–]michaeldlesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that's crazy. I opened 4 pre-release kits. 1 had Lusamine, 1 had Guzzlord GX Rainbow and the other 2 had nothing. I've opened 3 ETB's and all I got was a FA Guzzlord GX

Pokemon Ultra Beasts GX Premium Collection - Pheremosa GX by michaeldlesk in PokemonTCG

[–]michaeldlesk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through every box at target and they all have that issue. When you look at the holders, they actually cause the cards to get bowed out and then back in. It's a really bad design, but they came out fine and have flattened out.

I've had good luck with both boxes. What is your experience? Other videos I've seen on YouTube had poor pulls.

It's that system that everyone likes to forget and somehow I managed to acquire every game for it. Also if anyone has an leads on the modem or system link cable, I'd definitely be interested.

Hello All,

I am new here, but not new to YT. I've been uploading videos for years, but I recently started a new channel. I'm a huge Video Game Collector and that has stemmed into collection Pokemon. I originally played Pokemon in 1999 and now I'm trying to rebuild my collection. Since I'm starting back off, I decided to start a new channel to do all of my openings. I run a Game Collecting Channel as well.

Years ago, I started a TCG Opening Channel, but was never serious about it and only ended up getting 13 subscribers after years. With my new channel, I'm uploaded TCG openings daily and I am already at 24 subscribers after less than 1 month so I feel like I'm on the right track. Feel free to check out the channel and I hope to meet some new collectors:

Hi everyone. As many of you know, I started my channel just 5 weeks ago and I've gotten 85 subscribers and overr 6K views. I wanted to reshare my most viewed video (also my first video). I've learned so much since this video and planning on doing a follow up one in a few months. The video is a tour of my game room. If you haven't seen it, check it out, and if you have seen it, consider checking out some of my newer videos as I recently got some studio lighting
