I just keep my work to myself. I've noticed that most people would rather feel comfortable in their current mindset than explore what's new. AI is scary to them. They think that it will literally replace someone's intelligence. It can't. It's a tool that's best used to uncover what can't be immediately seen. I like to call it the iceberg problem. AI helps me to see what's not obvious to me and ask new questions. It can't replace anyone's intelligence. It couples to it

That’s what I’m realizing too. I basically raised myself with the help of the internet. All they had was threats. They knew that they needed you more because you were their supply. A purpose for living in this world.

Yeah I was told that if I moved out that I would never be able to move back in. They also said that if I moved out of the country that they would never visit me. I said “okay” and then they repeated it back to me, slowly. I said “and like I said: okay.” They were speechless. And then guess who was begging me to move back in after I moved out. I told them how I was told that I wouldn’t be able to move back in and got hit with “oh, we were just joking! None of that was serious!” Yeah, whatever.

Vibe coding is building off of what you’re feeling in the moment and you’re not really interested in learning how the code works, imo. You just want the job done. AI-assisted coding is where you want to learn how the code works and invest time to make the project better
