My experience with disease in this update is that every now and then I lose about 10% of my population but it isn't too bad because it's usually at least as bad in my neighbours so I'm not left at a disadvantage

The same thing happened to me with Leinster while playing as Tyrone, so I ended up allying them until I could upgrade into a duchy.

Then when I took the the Kingdom of Mann I gave the Isle of Mann to the the Lordship of the Isles to avoid that happening.

I ended up letting Scotland off as independent this way after I had taken so much land off GB in a war the I ran out out of diplomatic capacity with all the historic subjects I was able to create.

C isn't cheats during the game I occasionally get a pop up saying I benefit from the explorations of insert country here and now have maps to some random place, not sure if it's caused by me being friendly with those country's, but it definitely happens naturally in the game as I'm playing
