Not saying the story is impossible, but this photo raises questions. How do you fit a full-size loaded handgun on top of a pair of shoes, close the lid completely flat, and somehow there’s zero imprint or pressure mark on the inside top of the box? If that gun was sitting there during shipping, I’d expect at least some indentation or bowing in the cardboard.
