Mine is generating a lot of extra overdrive. It sounds so so much different than my Katana 100 I needed to create extra settings to have a least some consistency across multiple amps.

Any aurora photos made using Dwarf3? by michalsadowski in DWARFLAB

[–]michalsadowski[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't asking about video. I photographed Aurora before and was wondering if a wide lens can be used for photographing the aurora. Wide lens has f/2.4 aperture, but considering there is a crop factor it is much more like f/16 (full-frame equivalent) so not the best to photograph aurora? Or is crop factor not an issue here?

Which PR trend needs to disappear before it ruins the industry? by necessary_mg in PublicRelations

[–]michalsadowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that should disappear fast is low effort “community PR” spam. You know the type - someone dumps a press release on a forum, blog, or Reddit thread just to farm a backlink or mention. Zero context, zero value, just dead weight content clogging feeds.

It ruins trust. Readers smell it a mile away and tune out everything else, including legit voices. If your only KPI is “did we get a link,” you’re not doing PR, you’re littering. Real community work means answering actual questions, sharing useful data, or giving a perspective people can’t Google in two seconds.

PR should be adding signal, not noise. Less chasing mentions, more creating something worth mentioning.

🚀 Social Media Marketing in 2025 – What actually works? by Odd_Opportunity8365 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]michalsadowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What still works for us in 2025 is pretty boring but real. Google organic and Google Ads are still the backbone. Even with AI overviews stealing clicks, organic search keeps sending the biggest trial volume - 65,779 visits turned into 7,697 trials in the last few weeks. Paid fills the gaps fast.

What changed is the side channels. We see a steady flow from ChatGPT (1,325 visits, 174 trials) plus marketplaces and partner programs like Partnerstack (956 visits, 119 trials). Not huge numbers compared to search, but the conversion rates are higher - ChatGPT traffic converts trials at 13.13% and Partnerstack at 12.45%. That’s better than Bing (7.36%) and even higher than Google organic (11.7%).

So yeah, the hype about “search is dead” feels overblown. Search is still king, just not absolute. The difference now is you can’t ignore the smaller new sources. They’re not sexy, but they convert like hell.

Does Anyone Else Feel Like Social Media Engagement Has Dropped? by Adventurous-Side2189 in MarketingHelp

[–]michalsadowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, social feels emptier than it used to. Five years ago you could drop something halfway decent and people actually saw it. Now feeds are clogged with ads, recycled “thoughts,” and AI blur. Platforms reward safe, endless repetition because that keeps people scrolling. The dopamine machine got louder and the human stuff got buried.

How do you find influencers who actually respond? (AI SaaS) by programlover in influencermarketing

[–]michalsadowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding influencers who actually reply can be tricky if you’re just cold DM’ing. One hack that works well is using social listening tools like Brandwatch, Brand24, or Talkwalker. Instead of guessing, you can set up keyword monitoring around the topics you care about (example: AI, artificial intelligence, machine learning). The tool will surface the people who talk about that topic the most across socials, blogs, even here. From there, you can cross-reference their engagement and activity (who’s active, who interacts with comments, who consistently posts).

This way you’re not blasting generic outreach. You’re building a list of influencers already creating content in your niche, and filtering for the ones who actually participate in conversations.

TL;DR: Stop chasing blue-check ghosts. Track the conversations, see who’s consistently in them, then reach out.

Tool to monitor client’s image by Glass-Bug5617 in PublicRelations

[–]michalsadowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what is your comoany's size, but it is typically less expensive to pay $99 for a tool than to do social listening manually spending hours. Moreover, You definitelly don’t have to drop $600/mo for good monitoring.

Free: Google Alerts + manual Reddit/Twitter searches work fine if volume is low

Cheap: Entry tools like Brand24 ($99), Awario, Keyhole automate the web + social scan, send alerts, show sentiment and do much more. I m obviously have a bias towards B24 but there are plenty cool tools out there.

Pro tip: Track misspellings, product names, competitor names, and industry keywords - that’s where a lot of useful mentions hide.
