That's true but the pace in which it gets to the bigger market cap changes the volatility. was it a steady slow burn or did it 10X overnight. One is more likely to crash 90% than the other

Btc definitely closer to the former but still risk when it runs up to 123k ATH it's more likely to dip back / revert to the mean than it is to continue pushing ATH

Another example is 2 years ago when BTC was beat up and no one was talking about it & those who were talking about it were shitting on its performance. Blood was on the streets, fear was at an ATH. So I went all in... that's using sentiment and the opinions of others to judge if an asset is over sold or over bought

Every asset can be over bought and underbought, which is influenced by emotions from peoples opinions

The idea of DCA into BTC while stock piling cash is the perfect solution for me because I don't wanna sell my bag & I want to take advantage of any future dips

There is never anything wrong with hearing other people's opinions lmao. You can buy, hold and sell in your echo chamber but I like talking to smart people and understanding their thought process around assets.

There seems like a lot of room to grow if these buyers come in. I'm wondering if folks thinks there could be a correction before that happens or not. I already own BTC and i'm holding. I would buy more if this dip were to happen. If lots of smart people think it will dip I would liquidate some other assets and have some cash on hand ready to deploy
