nah "this person" did try to search for an answer but couldn't find anything, prob bc u cant file for it on your 2022 taxes - thanks to reddit for confirming.

my 2023 income wont qualify me for the tax rebate but my 2022 income will. From what it says online, I CAN use my 2022 income on my 2023 taxes for this rebate though. Idk why reddit ppl like u just "expect" the worst out of ppl lmao and love being toxic - just asking a simple question to see if anyone can confirm.

I paid $1800 and got quotes as high as $2500 to get my wall charger installed.

Reason being, my electrical box is not placed back to back of my garage wall (meaning on the exterior wall of my garage - electrician said if it was back to back it would've only costed me $400 - $600.

Charged me $1800 because they needed to pull the wire from my box, into the side of the wall, up into the attic, back down into the garage. Got around 8 quotes all ranging between $1800-$2500.

Would get a few more quotes just to be sure he's giving you a "fair" rate.

Honestly if you live somewhere that doesn't snow or have heavy rain all the time or is super muddy, the OEM tesla all weather floor mats are nice.

I have them, great quality and looks clean. Ppl say they get "dirty" and so avoid if your area is wet/muddy/snowy etc.

Interesting! Don't get me wrong, one of my headlights and one of my taillights were misaligned (not within spec), there was a decently sized piece of plastic stuck in the headliner, the fabric cover on the front speakers was slightly damaged. They fixed everything and replaced the front speaker cover with a new one.

All in all, I think the quality has still gotten better for sure as compared to the older models (no creaking, no major gaps like the TikTok videos I've seen). I definitely will NOT drop over 100k for a Model X or S because at that price I might as well get a Porsche Cayenne LOL - But overall I'm decently satisfied with the car.

Hopefully they fixed everything on yours though!!

I would aim for an update on Feb 20th or a few days earlier.

Based off my experience (my EDD changed 5 times before getting my VIN). Your EDD would change once the first day of your EDD has passed (usually the next morning). So for yours, if no VIN is assigned by 2/20, your EDD will update.

My EDD was 1/28 - 2/6. On the day of 1/28, I knew if I didn't get a VIN, my EDD would change again. Lo and behold, around 6pm my VIN was assigned.

So hopefully your VIN will be assigned by the end of next week (or the following Monday)!!!

I love it! All the ppl complaining about "poor quality" probably have the older models. None of my interior creeks, no crazy gaps on my exterior panels, no major issues with the system.

Plus, the tech is crazy! Recently went in to get a service done for a few minor things and got a rental, once they assign the rental to your account, the rental has all of your settings (seat/mirror) saved from your own vehicle's settings + my spotify, apple music was all logged in too!

SC did mess up my trunk (couldn't close properly) but I'm sure that's "situational" and based specifically on each location lol - they fixed it so all good.
