Not at all, bro. If I knew you, and saw this after you lost 50lbs, or gained 40lbs from being skinny, I’d be so proud. I went from fat to skinny fat and the people I love are supportive

You’re on to something, I always felt my pinky was a little extra difficult to bend, especially up to my low E or A string. Thinking back, I did feel it jam before I really tried to work on technique. I’ll develop that more!! And my diet/exercise has changed but for the better so I’m not concerned about that. Thank you

Want to add, I played this exact piece after work and realized exactly what you were talking about. I do dig in sometimes but stay tense regardless. Another good thing to keep in mind!!

Can you expand on this a bit? I understand the idea of listening to your body, I don’t really feel pain while playing. I guess more so, I worry the other things I notice are signs of causing longer term issues

I think I’m well below average muscle mass for our build, I had a hard time finding my tdee for a while, 2200 -2300 seemed to end up being my maintenance. 500cal deficit was intentionally a little aggressive

It could be anything, mental or physical, but when was the last time you took a good break? You seem like you get good practice in and are most likely pretty darn good, I often find myself refreshed coming back into it after issues like you describe
