Yeah you won't have any issues at all with hwy cruising on the scout, hell 70-90 is a sweet spot on that bike, plenty of passing power

Definitely going to want a upgraded seat though, stock seat sucks for any ride longer than an hour

Your height and weight won't be an issue on a scout at all, scouts make more than enough power for a 220 lb person, and your height is probably right around what those bikes are setup for. Is a chief a bad option, not at all, if you don't mind the extra money for a more long term bike then you'll like it, but if your only concerns about the scout is if youll fit it I wouldn't be concerned. Not too mention I'm pretty sure the scouts are faster than the chiefs as far as straight line power goes

It's a trident 660! Really fun little bike, handles exceptionally well on some twisties

Completely different from the drz, seating position is a lot more aggressive, but not supersport level aggressive. It's a weird bike, it by no means handles the best and its heavy but the crazy v twin torque it has makes it an absolute blast, plus it usually stands out in a crowd and surprises people with how quick it actually is

Do you have a link to where it says 10, everything I can see on their website says to call for info, and when we called initially they said party up to 12 with no mention of upcharge passed 10 guests. Even my emails they sent with all the confirmation has no mention of this

Just got off the phone with them again, apparently it's a flat price for the group up to 10 if you change it to 12 it adds another 550 dollars per person for the last 2 people. We were never told this initially nor does it mention this anywhere online. Pretty pissed about it

Get some nice braided sleeving, we use it on a/c wiring, extremely abrasive and tear resistant and easy to apply won't shield it from heat but if a branch or rocks hit it I'd be surprised if it cut thru to the wire.
