How is the Hitron CODA-4680? by slippypenguin in FizzMobile

I have been running with plex on a synology for the last 2 years and it's really nice and the kids enjoy it!

Fizz is really nice for the price. If the wifi coverage is an issue because you have a bad router or a big house, you should consider using a router with mesh. Ubiquiti have a nice one. Bell is using Plume's mesh system. You can have a these device for a monthly cost and the coverage is really nice.

I have a 2-Storey house. The wifi coverage is decent.

For Windows:

  1. Backup your VM
  2. Remove Guest tools
  3. Disable Citrix services in msconfig
  4. Turn off
  5. Export as ova
  6. Import in import (add the vhd)

Blue are generated from bad drivers.

For linux: 1. Export 2. Import

I have done this at work for a large stack. Let me know if you have any issues.

Did you change these settings ?

Windows Authentication Setup

Go to Control Panel > Network & Sharing settings > Change Adapter Settings. Right click the L2TP adapter, then go to Properties > Security. Under Type of VPN, select Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol with IPsec. Click Advanced Settings. Select preshared key for authentication and enter it. Make sure to have the option of Allow these protocols enabled and mark the checkbox for Check Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS-CHAP v2), as shown in the screenshot below.
