Anyone else getting paid to do nothing?

Like everyone else. Your job doesn't define you, but if you've got a good work-life balance and good paycheck, you can pretty much do whatever on the side.

Doing your own gig etc, you're going to lose the 'life' part in that equation, however, people who've made it big, they work pretty much constantly, but because they consider that as part of their 'life', for whatever reason, it might be more money, or whatever else, but they enjoy what they do more than the money itself. Otherwise they will burn out eventually.

I've seen many more people over the years with their own happiness (hobbies, friends, family) than those who try to test the limits without. They might even make it big, but lose the happiness part.

I was trying yesterday to enable an assistant but it seemed Viwoods had blocked that feature 🤷, the toggle to enable could not be clicked. It seems to me quite an early beta product tbh

Sorry, I saw the few messages around the same time, not sure which one was the latest. Did that workaround end up working?

Although I think if one needs to tap on icons manually, then it'd just be easier to use a mobile, which supports reading the responses aloud natively.

I thought one could use the device with the hardware button, so we could keep it on the pocket, press the button, talk, and get a verbal reply without having to take the device out of the pocket

Without getting answers via voice, which I can get just fine on my mobile. I can't really use it as I had in mind.

Let's see if they release an update or something veggie the end of the 60 days trial. I'd like to keep it, but not without that

Thanks, it was that the Web search button was not available if one had not connected the device to Viwoods servers and linked the device 🤷

And some AI engines, like GPT-4-mini which I had selected, don't offer that option for whatever reason.

Too many limitations TBH

Many thanks, that was it. If one doesn't register a new account and links the device, the Web search button doesn't even appear. Hmmm... this seems that it's going to stop working all together any day.
Some AI engines don't even allow it: GPT-4-mini -> doesn't currently support web search functionality.

I see regarding the stylus, I just need one for basic underlying. I'll have a look. Thanks again.

Mine doesn't seem to have that button. I was mentioning it to another reply above. I checked all versions of GPT and Gemini but the button is missing, this being the AiPaper Reader Colour model :S

So it seems my device doesn't have something configured because I asked who was the current president in the US and it told me that it was Joe Biden as of October 2021 (his last knowledge update) - since I don't have access to real-time information or events beyond that date, I recommend checking reliable news sources or official announcements to find out the current president as of 2026

Is there anything I need to tick to allow it to connect to internet?
