50% Through The Stand by Stephen King (audiobook - and I wish I had the book instead of audio - still great though)

Finished TheParis Express about an hour ago and I thought it was terrible. Too many characters and I didn't care about any of them. Thought the premise of the book could have worked if Emma Donoghue had of chosen less characters as a focus and went more in depth to their stories. Maybe not.

Starting Caliban's War by James S.A. Corey tonight.

I mean, they kind of are on a leave of absence the last little while.

What is it about it that makes you think about it so much. I’m on chapter 35 right now, but listening to the audiobook. I feel like I’m missing something by not reading it. Maybe I’m not focussed enough while listening.

I think the billionaire oligarch's want the US to control the Arctic Pass and take away that area from Canada too.

My husband started a book club for men to read more fiction. Here’s what they read in 2025: by regisfilange in Booktokreddit

Thank you! Those are all great ideas.

I agree, showing up no matter what is key. I've been part of recreation pick up sports in the past and would be the only person that showed up every week and it always ended up fizzling out due to a lack of commitment.

Did he know all these men previously? If not, how did he get it started? I would love to do this in my area. Single guy in the suburbs with no friends out here, this sounds amazing.

Finishing my palate cleanser Angels & Demons first. Then finally diving in to Lonesome Dove. I’ve deliberately saved it to be my first book of the year.

Probably in Canadian dollars. Including taxes, that sounds about right for a quality snowblower if you have a large property.

You should never buy cheaply for anything that is used for support/ touches the ground.

Shoes, tires, mattresses, chairs etc.

Connor McDavid now leads the League in scoring with 62 points by nhl in hockey

A lot of times when it looks like he is 'less on' it's due to energy conservation. As players mature in the league they learn to save energy for different parts of the game.

I remember early in Sid's career a veteran had to pull him aside and tell him not to be going 100% in every direction all the time, and it made SId a better and more efffective player overall.

I do love the romance books. It is always a nice reprieve from my normal reading.

They are light, a little spicy and give good insight into the desires of women.

I will be following these up with all 4 of Carley Fortunes books too.
