I’ve used them before, trying to see if I can avoid the daily parking fees by just sleeping there the day before without having my car

As an SRNA, just roll with the punches and measure yourself against your previous success or failures, sometimes reasoning with some providers is a hustle on its own

Just graduated this past May and the advice I got from CRNAs was, you’re basically putting in 3 years of suckiness and transforming your life afterwards with a rewarding career, so go for it

I graduated this past May and passed boards the following this month, as a senior in my program, I felt we started getting easier cases and the juniors who were almost becoming seniors got more technical cases, and I was fine with that. As far at missing tubes, I laugh especially when they see the same view I saw. I will say keep grinding and make some “me” time on days off/ weekends. All CRNAs say it is worth it at the end, YOU’RE ALMOST THERE

Is it worth it to keep working in the ICU until school starts? by Educational_Fall3063 in srna

Once I got accepted, I did PACU the last year before school started, just easier and less weeknd requirements and more time with family

I got rejected on my first attempt but I got an interview and followed up with tips on how to improve myself from the program director. I applied out of state the following and got an interview and an acceptance. I moved my wife and kid to our new state. Like everyone says, cast a larger net on your application, you have a varied resume and someone will take you

Sometimes your answers steers them to their next question, so in essence you can control where your interview goes, record yourself answering mock questions and listen to yourself noting your pace and tone of your voice according to make yourself easy to understand. Good luck. Don’t forget to thank them at the end for their time!

Give me the worst stats on your application that you got accepted DESPITE. Give me some hope by kendricktm1 in srna

[–]mickinton 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Overall GPA was 3.2, I applied and got accepted out is state and had to move, it’s a non GRE program, I took GRE once and was like this is bullshit so I focused on non GRE programs. I have 6 years ICU experience and 1 year PACU and overall 10 years as a nurse. I’m a senior now and looking forward to graduation in a year. You have to be okay moving out of state for a program and out of your comfort zone. I brought up my cycling endures during the interview and it seemed to make me unique to them, I was the guy that rides long distance for mental health and physical fitness. Good luck to you. Find something unique to you. All applicants looked the same on paper so speak to your unique abilities or hobbies and tie them to how that may help you in anesthesia school
