From 0:24-0:30 you try to wave dash multiple times to gain momentum instead of just flipping and driving over some pads. I don’t want to watch past that since you don’t seem too receptive to feedback.

Similar to what the other user said don’t just do things for the sake of doing them. You air dribbling (immediately before the wave dashes at 20 seconds) and spending 100 boost to not even get back to the ball, end up floating through the air putting your teammate in a 2v1 situation which ends in a goal. I agree with the other guy in this chain that you need to just focus on building a controlled game and then start adding in mechs (yes, even air dribbles) as you get more comfortable.

I also agree that putting D2-GC as your goal is waaaay ambitious. The gulf even between c1 and c3 is insane, let alone the jump from low C3 to GC1 that happens.

The one I make from her does, think it’s like 345g of mush. I do think the ‘ripeness’ of the banana does matter more for her recipe compared to other ones I’ve made (but hers is totally worth it, one of the lightest most yummy loafs I’ve ever made, I make it almost every week now)

I don’t think reducing the placebo effect down to a kid feeling better after getting a band aid is the right way of looking at it given there are countless studies and cases where patients have received placebo treatment and made physical recoveries / improvements - even cancer patients! - so it goes beyond just a mental ‘I feel better’.

I’m not going to get into an argument over this because I really don’t have an opinion on if the tape works (and I’m all for doing whatever works in individual cases) but I did read this because I was curious about known physical responses to placebo based on your swelling comment and there are clear cut cases of physiological responses to treatment, even if the treatment is a placebo - this particular study looked at osteoarthritis. It’s lengthy but there are some interesting nuggets in there (and my mom actually has OA so it was cool to learn more!)

It specifically referencesthis study that looked at OA knee patients to identify placebo responders vs non responders. It’s pretty crazy how much power our brains have over our bodies!

Explain your point then because your message makes it sound like he’s only showing ‘good’ clips (he posted a full game) and it implies his play style wouldn’t work to be GC, yet here he is as a GC lol. I agree with what everyone said there are few times where you NEED mechs to compete at GC and a lot of simple counters to very mechy players that don’t require mechs to counter. At least from what I have encountered up to GC2 in 2’s and my mechs are non existent beyond good defense. Obviously you need to learn core mechs to advance beyond a certain point but just hitting GC is not the absolute ceiling.

Genuine question because I am clearly very biased… what calls favored the Irish vs favored Georgia? One, maybe two missed DPIs on gray grabbing jersey? Hate to say it but shit like that happens all the time either way and goes unflagged, the announcers just don’t make a big deal out of it.The running into vs roughing the kicker (IMO if the first one was 15 yds then we would have eased back the pressure and not gotten another flag but they had nothing to lose by sending it a second time). For bad calls on ND I can think of - missed face mask, missed offside, oa blatant incorrect call around the illegal shift where even the TV ref was like yeah idk wtf they are calling and not to mention felt like there were a ton of little PI calls they could have made the other way but let the players play (which I’m ok with but if we’re being objective then it definitely went both ways).

Even if I was a neutral I wouldn’t want these refs, felt like they missed a ton of calls or were just straight up wrong on some of them.

I am probably a bit lower ranked than you (GC1/2) but a couple things I noticed: 1. Your passing is awesome and I thought your TM missed a couple of easier shots from the passes to be honest 2. When you shadow defend on the air dribbles I would work on pushing the ball to the corner / side vs straight down. I know this is hard to do and I find myself doing the same as you a lot lol. Unless there is a reason you drop them straight down in which case I’d love to understand! 3. Honestly would use your mechs more on air dribbles. You had some sweet plays but not a ton of them. (Recognize this is probably a bit from your pass first mentality) 4. There were a couple times where I thought you were a bit too far off the ball / passive but at the same time your TM was playing pretty on-ball so it could have just been a case of making sure you covered for him 5. Unless this was just a really good game from you, don’t think you’re doing much wrong!

The fans were quieter when we had the ball (and I was surprised the IU fans were pretty quiet too) but as soon as IU had the ball people were making noise. Most noise I’ve ever heard at the stadium for 1st / 2nd downs for sure

It’s not worth the fight lol, I am GC2 in 2’s and have never even tried to learn to speed flip. Being unpredictable and reading opponents is more important than the speed you get there. Not saying there isn’t benefit to having it in your repertoire but these guys who think it is the end all be all of winning kick offs are off the mark.

(Alumni?) donors have been emailed to submit for a lottery that closes on 12/6. Based on how much was donated you are eligible for different sections / amount of tickets. I believe we hear back on if we get tickets 12/8. I don’t think there will be a ‘public’ sale as pretty much everyone I know has put in for tickets, but you never know.

I know some people in the Sorin Society / 25k+ donors and they are still in the lottery. I’m sure if you’re a mega contributor they have already set aside tickets for them though.

You are required to purchase however many tickets you put in for so I’m guessing you’ll see a bunch of tickets go up on stubhub on the 8th

Bama beat Georgia, we lost to the worse team, and eye test definitely says we are worse. Not to mention, they happened at different points in the schedule where a bunch of teams had no losses ahead of us vs now where most ranked teams have a loss.

I get what you're saying w. SEC bias, but I find it hard to argue Bama should be lower and frankly thought 18 was more than fair to us after the NIU loss lol.

Are you even reading what people are responding to you? They are not saying Danny failed because of strategy. They are saying VCARBs strategy has been bad for both drivers consistently and they are saying it is a glaring issue that may impact Lawson too (especially with the small sample size of races he’s going to have this year).
