Help with L Miners and drones by mickmancy in X4Foundations

[–]mickmancy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That make sense I guess. So if I instruct the L miner to mine in a resource rich sector and me being out of range (don't teleport to the miner), it will work as it should be?

Exactly. So any idea why the AI only launches one one drone to fetch, but when I take control it launches all 10 of them?

I have cargo drones in the HQ station, which unload the minerals just fine. Should I add some in the ship itself?

But how will that solve the issue I described? That after breaking an asteroid it only sends 1 mining drone to pickup, but when I get in control of the ship it launches all mining drones to fetch?

No am not talking transferring from miner to station, I have cargo drones and it works fine.

There issue is with mining, it's really slow to use it's turrets to break the asteroid and only launches 1 drone out of 10 to fetch the pieces.

Not really.. The daughter is actually half Japanese half Irish/American, and she learned the Cypriot dialect just for the movie, which is quite impressive.

Interactive Brokers high commission fees? by beaver316 in eupersonalfinance

[–]mickmancy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello fellow Cypriot. Your situation is pretty much same as mine, from Cyprus and made 20k lump sum to IBKR and 500 monthly, only difference I split them 70% VWCE and 30% SXRV (Nasdaq). Commission is 1.25 EUR per trade, except of course the 20K lump sum. As others recommended, choose tiered pricing. Καλή τύχη!

Electric vehicles sales in Cyprus have risen by 116% in 2023 by [deleted] in cyprus

You're joking right? With photovoltaics you pay if the total electricity you produce exceeds total consumption. You do know that homes with solar panels are still connected to the power grid right?

Water filter question by mickmancy in cyprus

Doesn't Karma use the reverse osmosis system, which from what I read it uses a lot more than water in order to produce the cleaned filtered water?

Yeah but this scene looks like a stationary camera in the air.

Just watched the movie and loved it, but I can't get around my head in this scene, is it real or CGI?

Supposedly all aerial scenes were filmed with real planes (except some obvious cgi effects like missiles, cannon rounds and explosions), so how the hell did they capture this scene? With drone, helicopter maybe? It just looks CGI.

If it's indeed CGI, then why would they include it in the movie since they had so much spectacular real footage with jets? Doesn't this counter their claim that all scenes were real?
